Corky Posted 6 November 2012 Posted 6 November 2012 no champions league, no care, i suppose To win it in their first year would've been remarkable really. The Champions League will be a long process for Manchester City.
Tielemans63 Posted 6 November 2012 Posted 6 November 2012 To win it in their first year would've been remarkable really. The Champions League will be a long process for Manchester City. Absolutely. It was for United. SAF had to endure a few embarassing defeats to the likes of Gothenburg and Galatasaray and then hammerings at the Nou Camp and the Delle Alpi before he cracked it.
Raj Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 To be fair Balotteli was holding the defenders neck!!! Man.C were woeful in the 1st half. Dont watch many game on Tv but that was blood good game. i Like Mancinis passion, hope he keeps his job.
Mack Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 If City hadn't given away two soppy goals early on they wouldn't have had to worry for the ref and his eyesight issues.
C-man Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Can't remember City complaining when they got a very generous penalty vs Dortmund. Swings and roundabouts. It's a shame all CL groups aren't like Group D. Superb entertainment.
Super_horns Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Both British teams not winning = blaming the officials. No surprise there. Man City do sound like they were hard done by though...not that is should excuse their previous poor results.
Haydos Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Unsure about the Man City penalty, it didn't look like the shirt tug was really having an effect to me. I do think the ref might have given it if it had gone on any longer but at that point he decided to leap into the air and dive on the ground which is NOT a result on shirt pulling and could easily make the ref think he was trying to play him completely. Really think this is a case of players making it difficult for refs again.
MooseBreath Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 If you don't go down the ref will never give anything though
AKCJ Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Incredible atmosphere for the Celtic vs Barca game. Would just love to be there.
marko Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Incredible atmosphere for the Celtic vs Barca game. Would just love to be there. I enjoy You'll Never Walk Alone when they turn the music off with a verse or two to go and just the crowd sings. Sounds really good in my opinion.
purpleronnie Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Incredible atmosphere for the Celtic vs Barca game. Would just love to be there. rivals anything in the world. Great tifo at the start too, as far as I know it was completely funded by the fans. amazing.
AKCJ Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Celtic fans doing 'The Huddle' (Pozman) and it was making the camera shake Messi just hit the bar,
purpleronnie Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 I wish we could transfer that atmopshere south of the border. I reckon we need to drink more.
z-layrex Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 I wish we could transfer that atmopshere south of the border. I reckon we need to drink more. Dunno about you but I do not need to drink more .
Danizen Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 What a save, Forster! Come on Celtic*. *That felt dirty
AKCJ Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Tony Watt, 18 years old. He's just come on and secured the win for Celtic. 2-0
marko Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Would never have predicted 2-0 Celtic in a month of Sundays. Hats off!
martyn Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Celtic 2-0. That Tony Watt looks a decent player, quick skilful and composed.
Danizen Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Great result. Glad I turned over. Ref is a disgrace, though. Three bookable offences by Song.
