marty78 Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Hallelujah no more Dyer on the LW. So you've made him 1st choice already His 4 assists in the French 2nd tier and a strange surname make him better than Dyer. Chin up Lloyd, I still love you.
DanTheFox07 Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Has he signed or just in talks??? There is a picture on here with him and steve walsh our scout! while I don`t want to jump to conclusion`s as it isn`t official he is at the ground so must be a deal must be close/done!
foxoffderby Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Wow that came out of nowhere. No tweets rumours nothing. Looking forward to seeing him a left winger exactly what we needed. There really needs to be a Steve Walsh (scout) appreciation thread.
Bayfox Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Are we about to sign a winger from abroad, bloody ell go on pearson Max Gradel
Mark_w Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Are we sure he's a left winger? Link? Edit: I think we all just stumbled upon the same website.
kingfox Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Knockaert - Another young player, looks a quality addition linked with some top clubs Dyer - Has pace to burn, will give it his all but end product lacks Gallagher - Hit and miss but can score goals crucial this season Marshall - Will be one of our main players this season, will score goals What is there not to like about these choices.
Happy Fox Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Sounds like a coup signing for us, Newcastle have got a good French scouting network as testified by last season so if they were scouting him he must have something about him well done Walsh and NP.
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Whilst this looks like a potentially good signing (and exciting), i wish people wouldnt just write Dyer off. Dyer can still be quality in this and would be an immense impact player as well. Plus on top of all that, lets not abuse a player thats been a very loyal servant and played a HUGE part in our league 1 success and following playoff season

Dan Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 dyer was the best he's ever been last year. I've never heard a more compelling argument for anyone who calls him shit.
LCFC FOX Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Is he good enough for first team? Or will he be back up? I hope he is first team though as people have said Gally is a 1 in 5 man and Dyer for me is better last 20minutes of the game.
Simo86 Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 To be honest Dyer has pace, it`s more crossing ability we need! but from the sound`s of it this guy can score goal`s to! im still in shock that we have signed a foreign player, when was last time we signed someone from a foreign league? Last season
Will1981 Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Yeeahhh booooiiiii. Now, who has FM CA and PA!? CA = 112, PA = -7Right Footed CAM, ST

Leicfox Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 He does actually sound the same type of player as Vardy from what I've read. Hopefully he'll turn out to be a gem if it becomes official.
CosbehFox Posted 1 August 2012 Author Posted 1 August 2012 Knockaert has put on his own facebook that he's joined.

Legend_in_blue Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 As I eluded to in a previous post yesterday, an alternative to Dyer was required because with him starting games there is no way we could get promoted. All pace with not much else. Now that we, hopefully, have an alternative Dyer can be used more effectively as an impact player in the second half. Perfect. We desperately needed another winger and it looks like we might have one. Sort out a tough tackling CM and another CB and I might start feeling even more optimistic.
