Anthony Gerrard Cardiff to Leicester

Are these the same sort of arguments all the morons on here got their knickers in a twist about. ie. nobody knows a thing about what went on, but we'll slate them anyway.

Nobody says he's shit. He seems to be getting stick for answering his critics on twitter and going out on the piss with his cousin after the cup final.

Why should we care?

Wasnt Gerrard nominated Hull's player of the season ahead of the likes of Koren? Seems he may be a total arse but then i would suggest 30% of footy players are - just like 305 of fans! If NP could manage him at Hull then NP will manage him here. I suspect he will be 2nd or 3rd choice for the CB paring if he joins. On a seperate note, whislt I quite like Wes I am not convinced he is good enough for the first CB name on the sheet and \I find him slow and cumbersome. He needs someone along him with pace (both physically and mentally).

And Pearson will have a better opinion that the lot of them, seeing as he actually knows the bloke unlike you and them.

Because he likes Pearson? Because he believes Pearson could perhaps in time make up player of the year material again? Because he'd rather try and force his way in here over time than play for a shitter team?

Pearson will have an opinion going by Hull City, but like the St Ledger and Mills incidents with Pearson obviously incidents with Gerrard with Jones and Mackay got out amongst the media.

Yes he may believe in Pearson, and he may play well but there are always two different sides, the side of he can do exactly what he did at Hull with Pearson, and become a great signing for us, or side two when he just plays like he did at Cardiff becomes bigheaded, falls down the pecking order and becomes frustrated. Millwall ain't a bad side, yes they are shitter than us, but still they have good players and there is more of a chance he would start for them, instead of starting for us.

It all depends on what Gerrard wants to do, does he want to fight for a place here but most likely sit on the bench, or would he want to go to a lesser capable team like Millwall or Bristol City but probably start week in week out.

Or nothing even happened.

Exactly, so stop making out it's the shittest signing ever and he's the biggest twat to walk the planet.

bigheaded, frustrated.

According to you.

He did, Gerrard is a very capable centre back

Wes is the new captain, mentally he is strong clearly not a speed demon but that's the mould of defender he is deffo needed in championship.

It all depends on what Gerrard wants to do, does he want to fight for a place here

Well if he signs for us that should answer your inane assumption (s) >_>

Why would he be shipped out on loan, if he didn't have a barmy with Dave Jones, and didn't you see his reaction to Mackay after his penalty miss, Mackay wants him out of the club.

I didn't say he was our shittest signing ever and I didn't say he is the biggest twat to walk the planet.

He is bigheaded, that is a fact our fans should even know that, do your research.

Might not be the worst, nor the best. Mediocre for sure. Not a good signing and one that either suggests St.Ledger is off or becoming our first choice right back.

Yes mediocre and not a good signing.

Some people will like this signing some people won't.

St Ledger won't be off now he is injured, would love him as first choice right-back but that will be De Laet.

Are there any signings you haven't written off before they have even kicked a ball?

From Cardiff fans on the Cardiff City forum.

What a c**t, fed up of his bites on Twitter, sooner he goes the better.

The quicker Gerrard is gone, the better for us/the team and Malky.

Gerrard throws his toys out of the f**king pram and crys. Cringy.

Argues with Dave Jones and Malky, coincidence I think not? Didn't play after the Cup final? Coincidence I think now? Grade A Twat.

Gerrard has loads of digs at fans when they never abused him. Hes supposed to be a role model to young fans and his attitude is disgraceful.

Think those just sum up my points over the past day.

KingFox, did you write that yourself ?????? ;)

Loads of signings I have liked and rated, im not that idiotic.

Just looking on google about Gerrard and Jones. Gerrard was loaned out and he didn't like it, then kicked up a fuss and had a go at Jones, so he basically got mardy because Jones didn't like and rate him.

Gerrard has hit out at his team mates, due to dressing room ego's and cliques, so that wouldn't of gone down well with some team mates.

And some have said him and Jones didn't exactly have the best relationship either.

I am not gonna make any shit up, just to be left a fool over my comments, I know that I can back-up my comments on this unlike some before.

Several of the players that played under MON were big headed twats. Would love them back here again though. Perhaps he just needs to be managed in the right way. I still wonder how much more we would have got out of Collymore if MON had stayed at the club.

I would want more money than Beckford and Mills.

Then I actually may consider it.

So basically, your whole knowledge of these players comes from trawling the net for negative comments?

If you listen to only rumours found on internet forums Pearson is the biggest bellend going falling out with Gradel, Campbell, SSL, Mills, Beckford. Accused of head butting players etc. When, in reality they were all denied by either Pearson or the players. And there was no evidence at all.

Maybe there is no smoke without fire, maybe it's all bullshit. You don't know for sure!!!

Then you say Gerrard has been known to hit out at cliques and egos in the dressing room...... sounds like someone right up Pearsons street.

Can you name at least 300 of those 305?

Not looking at rumours on the internet, these are from local papers and national papers, but you will now say don't believe any shit you read in something like the daily mail.

People saying Pearson headbutted Beckford and stuff is dramatic, it might of happened but it's 80% unlikely.

I just have my opinions from Gerrard, some fans will believe the things they read some they won't, but Cardiff fans have there opinions on Gerrard and they are not very good. Reading fans had there opinions on Mills, they were mediocre at best, but we kept saying oh Mills is a cracking signing will be our best of the season, and look how he turned out, Reading fans were actually correct on him.

All depends on what you want to believe and what you don't, I know Gerrard can be an absolute knob and so do some of our other fans, some don't believe the shit and think this signing will be good.

Cardiff fans know what his like and knows what he is like on social network sites, they were the fans who were watching him every week last season. Just look here http://www.cardiffci...t=85411#p821388

For whats it is worth I have worked with loads of absolute knobs but it is not a problem if they can get the job done. I'm not sure if you are trying to prove Gerrard is a knob or that you are.

I posted that link before hand.

Cardiff fans have there opinions like I said, they watched him week in week out and know what he is like from his events on the pitch, why would all those negatives comments be untrue, yes if one or two people said he was rubbish and bigheaded and 10 said he is a good player then who would you believe then?

But it's the fact that there are so many negative comments on him Mark, which doesn't look good in all honesty, just like with Reading fans and there opinions on Mills we thought they were utter bollocks, but they were actually telling the truth and there opinions were 100% correct on him.

I think you might be claiming to know more about Gerrard than you actually do, just as I suspect you do with De Laet and James.

Sure, you'll find Cardiff fans slagging AG off, as he celebrated with the opposition after they beat his club in the cup. I don't think it's that bad considering he was only there because he was with his cousin, who just happened to play for the opponents. I don't care if all the Cardiff fans think he is a bellend. I only care about how well he plays for us - something none of us can possibly know yet, since we haven't even officially signed him at this point in time.

Why not focus on the positives? I think it's fair to say that Pearson values attitude and personality highly when targeting new signings, and I strongly doubt he would even think about buying players who could disrupt the harmony of the squad. Add to that the fact that Pearson has worked with Gerrard before, and you can be even more sure NP knows exactly what AG is like to work with. Also, when Pearson and Gerrard did last work together, Gerrard was Hull's player of the season, ahead of players like Koren.

I can't see any reason to be so negative about this potential signing. If we sign him and he turns out to be shite, that's when you'd be justified to slag him off, but I can't see the point in doing it now, when he hasn't even kicked a ball for us.

I'm not sure if you realise that not everything you think is actual fact. I think you should be more sceptical. I haven't forgotten about your infamous "victims" thread, and I think you need to learn to be far more open minded, not just because it's unfair to slag off players who haven't played for us yet, but also for your own well being. There's no need to be fed up about players being shite when there's no good reason to think they are. I think you might form opinions about players in the same way a fussy eater does about food - before they've even tried something, they've already made their mind up that they're going to hate it, so their judgement is clouded.

The Cardiff fans are only so hostile because to him because of an internet rumour, yet you say you don't pay attention to them. He has some negative responses from Cardiff fans, but that is really down to a percieved bad attitude a view built really only on a supposed reaction to their final loss (When he tagged along to his cousins celebrations, big deal) and a 'Bad Attitude' which they think he has as a result of him responding to his critics on Twitter. But if he gets anything like the stick people like Gallagher and Wellens get, can you blame him?

You are however choosing to ignore the opinions of Hull fans (Who have watched him play a very similar amount of football in terms of game time), a club that he played for under the same manager he would be working for here. Equally if you had the time on your hands I'm sure you could find a lot of Hull fans who rave about him on the internet. You're reading way too much into his time at Cardiff and completely ignoring what he did at Hull a club who he has played pretty much the same number of minutes for (When you take into account sub appearances for Cardiff). Seriously just chill and judge him on what he actually does here.

For all the negative posts you can find positive posts.... dare I say it ask dull fans they'll be very positive about him.

Like with dj Campbell here it never worked out and we hated his 'attitude' yet went on to success with Blackpool.... and kermo missed and penalty then hated by fans.... now Charlton fans love him..

I'll rather go with np's / Steve Walsh's judgement. Reserve personal judgement if ever puts on a shirt for us. Don't feed the WUM!
