And then compare them to Sven's signings! lol

The gulf in quality is absolutely hilarious when you bear in mind what the two of them spent.

Tempted to one day find every single signing we've made since Lloyd Dyer (our first under NP ever) just for a decent comparison.

A more interesting question would be who is his worst signing! That would be near impossible to answer; all his signings have been good, as they always are.

The fact that I find it difficult to vote for Pearson's best signing sums it up. There are a lot of players listed I can go for; Marshall, Knockaert, Vardy, Drinkwater, Morgan (who I voted for) who have impressed me since signing. I like the fact that these player's were all signed for a little amount as well.

But I did vote for Morgan. Puts his body in front of everything, puts in the effort and is the leader of the team. Quality defender, quality signing, especially for a £1million (or whatever the amount was).

Really? I would have thought that would be incredibly easy to answer...

Who then? Obviously McGivern wasn't great but not as bad as everybody made out and same applies for Neilson. Players he has signed, have always seemed to do well under him

im going to be oedantic here and point out something about the wording...

The best ( skillwise) would be Knocky, the most important would of course be big Wes.....

This ones not easy at all for me.

I always think that a midfield ball winner, full of energy to keep the players with more flair ticking over, is worth their weight in gold.

The first time I saw Danny Drinkwater I believed he could be this player. In many ways he's similar to my favourite City player ever, Neil Lennon.

Therefore he gets my vote.

Wes Morgan has been a terrific signing and also the fact he now has the captaincy and adds experience to the side gives him the edge over Drinkwater and Knockaert, just.

I really am struggling with splitting the big 3 as most of the concensus on here Big Wes-Immense, Drinky- Solid dependable engine room, Knocky-creative flair and flashes of genius would love to have a joint vote for the spine but have decided that because he's also doing a great job as Captain Big Wes got my vote! COYB :chant:

Hard to tell so far. There's 3 or 4 names that have had a massive impact in their positions (e.g Morgan seems to have really solidified the defence, Drinkwater has become a hub in midfield, and of course Knocky). But seeing as yesterday was my first attendance, it has to be Drinkwater, looks outstanding

He's made some very good signings but Wesley has been the best IMHO. An outstanding leader and a terrific centre half - Forest must be kicking themselves.

He wanted to go because they were total sh*t at the time (and still not much better), they didn't want to sell but were forced into it a bit.
