daddylonglegs Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Stringer just said on his Twitter that Pearson says he is 'touch and go' who would you bring in?
marty78 Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 I'd personally bring Marshall in on the right and stick Knockaert in the centre behind Nugent. I think Waghorn might start though.
5waller5 Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 As soon as we have a key man injured and we are starting the likes of Waggy, suddenly the small squad business looks a huge risk!!!
EnderbyFox Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Marshall please. Wouldn't be disappointed if it was Schlupp though
Lambert09 Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 This could actually be a good thing, Pearson will get a good chance to see if his squad players are good enough. Hopefully he will be back for the brighton game though
bakerfox123 Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Waghorn, he's looked good when he has come in, apart from the burton game...
Grey Fox Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Marshall for me as well. Stick Knocky behind Nuge, Marshall out wide.
Kitchandro Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Marshall please. Wouldn't be disappointed if it was Schlupp though Either of these for me. Could have 3 behind Nugent or with Schlupp alternatively we could just have him up front with Nugent. I'd really like to see Schlupp used on the left wing at some point. I think that might be his best position though his finishing has always impressed me.
lovelcfc Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Waghorn will start, Really needs a proper chance
dmayne7 Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 This is the big thing; people are justifiably worried that the players who could come in might not be good enough but the fact we have 4 different types of player to bring in to replace Vardy says a lot about the depth of the squad. Waggy, Schlupp, and Futacs need a few games to find a bit of rhythm but they are all capable of making a positive contribution to the team. So even if 1 of them gets going, we'll have both said player and Marshall waiting in the wings giving us a real flexible edge up top.
BrumFox Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 I've honestly not been a fan of Waggy for a while now, but the lad probably deserves a chance. He knocks them in for fun in the reserve games.
kingfox Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 I gave Jamie food poisoning Muhahahahahaha HAHAHAHAHA you are laughable Waggy, I am starting Pick me Nigel, pick me
chili_con_carne Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 If Waghorn plays well then I can't see Vardy being started for a while now. Same with St Ledger now Whitbread played alright. It's Pearsons way!
dannythefox Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 He's ill not injured! Waghorn and futcas will be gagging for it and to be fair it might do him good to miss one he'll come back eager.
MattyFromLE Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 If Waghorn plays well then I can't see Vardy being started for a while now. Same with St Ledger now Whitbread played alright. It's Pearsons way! Yeah, Pearson is renowned for waiting for his least favourite players to fall ill/get injured and then play his favourites regardless of form...
chili_con_carne Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Is that meant to be sarcastic? Bet you anything that it will be Whitbread and Morgan for the remainder of the season barring injuries/suspensions. Pearson was waiting for it.
Wagstff Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 It will either be Marshall and Knocky up from with nugent, or Waggy Schlupp or Futacs
indierich06 Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Yeah, Pearson is renowned for waiting for his least favourite players to fall ill/get injured and then play his favourites regardless of form... What are you banging on about?
MattyFromLE Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 What are you banging on about? It's sarcasm pal. Somebody made a comment that Pearson was waiting for Vardy and St Ledger to get injured so he could play his favourites. I was being sarcastic as this is a ridiculous theory.
Unabomber Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 If he can't play I would go 4 2 3 1 with Marshall, Knockaert and Dyer behind Nugent.
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 I would start Waghorn. It's alright saying play Knockaert behind Nugent but would we really want to change his position when he's playing this well? Let him run around where he wants like he has been doing.
