Larry_LCFC Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 So it is that time of year again where our attentions turn to the FA Cup. The third round draw is on Sunday and Leicester are number 22. Question is, who do we fancy to play this year? Think for me I would prefer a small team to start with and then a PL giant. Last year at Chelsea was awesome! Got a funny feeling we might end up playing Forest in the 3rd round though Ties to be played over the weekend of 5 & 6 January 2013
ealingfox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Anyone know what time the draw is? One of my favourite things to watch on TV.

NewburyFox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Not gunna be able to go to this so someone small and easy to beat at home, so I'm not missing out and we move into the fourth round
deanolegend1989 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 We'll get an away game Vs CCC team as usual. Ill go for Wolves Away.
Kitchandro Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Somewhere with a terrace or a big club. No lower Prem or Championship clubs please.

Fox42 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Got a funny feeling we'll get West Brom. If we do, would it be considered as a massive game and would we be considered as giant killers if we beat them providing where they are in the BPL?
Fox42 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 I bet it will be Cardiff. We play them twice in the space of a month don't we? I bet it will be Cardiff. We'll play them twice in the space of a month already don't we?
goose2010 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 going to miss this as I wont be back off hols. So hoping for a dull draw. Can see it being Sunderland at home we will beat them and O'Neill will get the bullet because of us.
FuriousFox46 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 It'll be Bristol City at home or something equally as dull.

If we do, would it be considered as a massive game and would we be considered as giant killers if we beat them providing where they are in the BPL? Obviously it would be a scalp but I wouldnt be majorly excited about it, despite their league position they're still a similar sized club to us, we wouldn't get a huge crowd at home and we'd probably lose.

As amazing as they're playing at the moment, I don't think it'd be considered that large a game as their pedigree doesn't correlate to where they are at the moment. So it'd be a relatively low-key match, and we'd probably get our arses handed to us - they're on fire at the moment. In fact it'd be a match I'd least like us to play - really tough, and a small headline. A similar run to the last FA Cup would be nice
indierich06 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Any London club away from home, preferably south of the river!
Libertine Dream Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 I want Brentford or Oxford away for some reason
Soar Fox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 My friend plays for Alfreton Town so in an ideal world they beat Leyton Orient on Sunday and then we draw them away.

If we do, would it be considered as a massive game and would we be considered as giant killers if we beat them providing where they are in the BPL? well their fans think they are real madrid, even when they were in the champo. so yes i'd imagine they'd see it as an upset if we beat them. manyoo or afc wimbledon for me.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Someone not in our division. An away game in the south where we can take 3-4K+. Though I'd quite like Villa or West Brom.
