Basingstoke Fox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Yeh and then we got Chelsea away, so it didn't really matter how many games away from Wembley it was. If we get to that stage again I'll start hoping for an easy tie. We were one of the last 8 teams in the whole country in the cup at that time. That's something I'm rather proud of given that we were a rather mediocre Championship club at the time. Love the anticipation for the 3rd round draw. But we'll probably get Burnley away.
smudger63 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Well we're not going to win it so it doesn't really matter when we go out, as long as we get one exciting tie. I'd rather go out like we did against Man City than like we did the year before at Cardiff. I wonder if that`s what the Sunderland fans were saying before the 3rd round of the FA Cup that they won in 1973, or if the Cardiff fans were saying it, before the 3rd round in 2008, when they made the final aginst Portsmouth, with a real chance of winning it.
promised land Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 AFC Wimbledon away if they beat the Dons. Or anyone outside our league.

Yeh they probably were saying that.

Really? means nothing to me. Beating Norwich was good but I wasn't proud of last season one iota.
Leicester_Numan Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 I wouldn't mind a bit of revenge over Burton for a start
Trav Le Bleu Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Be more interesting if the draw was being made by John Obi Mikel and Mark Clattenberg.
Tom17LCFC Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Would love Notts County away. Live like 5 minutes from the ground, quality day session.
Buggsteam Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Not really fused who we get. I would def play Moore tho.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 We draw arsenal away. Heard it here first
promised land Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 We draw arsenal away. Heard it here first If so we'd get a good allocation. The Emirates holds 60,000 so what percentage is given to cup games if wanted?
Simmo86 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 If so we'd get a good allocation. The Emirates holds 60,000 so what percentage is given to cup games if wanted? Get around 9 thousand
Corky Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Would love a cup run. Hope we don't get Forest again.
Karljohn Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Id settle for a crappy little league one side at home. Coventry it is then.
Deucalion Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 For me, we can save our cup runs for the Premier League.
Guest Bilo Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 http://www.thefa.com...aw-numbers.aspx Number 59 or Number 60 away please.
Happy Fox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Notts County we would take huge numbers to Meadow Lane.
Fox92 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 An easy home game. Get through the the fourth round (better date hopefully) and hope for my usual requests of Liverpool away, Everton away, Manchester United away, Notts County away or Bradford away... Like usual though, it will be a boring draw like Cardiff away.
Maybes Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Notts County we would take huge numbers to Meadow Lane. Like that shout a lot. League one/two side away from home would be nice.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Liverpool away and I think we can beat them, also wouldn't mind a non league away draw like Dorchester or something. also I wouldn't mind visiting AFC Wimbledon.
Corky Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 If we played Aston Villa, which end would you be in?
Leicesterpool Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 If we played Aston Villa, which end would you be in? Wouldn't attend, let the best team win
StanSP Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Number 22. That's a fantastic number for us. Very pleased with number allocation there. Personal dream cup run: 3rd Round - Coventry 4th - Derby 5th - Everton QF - Utd SF - Liverpool Final - Forest We're winning the cup this year, lads and ladies.
