AKCJ Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 What is sick about it? Everything, I don't like the comment so that's my opinion. What about those non league players who have done the draw before, they are hardly your next Zidane, you want to complain about them as well? Do I have to list everyone for you? I just think that the draw for the most respected national cup competition in the world should be made by people who have earned the right to do it. Whether that be captianing your local amateur side to the 3rd round or winning the cup with your professional side.

Whether that be captianing your local amateur side to the 3rd round or winning the cup with your professional side. But you just said Muamba is average yet he played for Arsenal, Birmingham and Bolton, yet you wouldn't mind seeing a non league player do the draw who probably works as a brick layer.
AKCJ Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 But you just said Muamba is average yet he played for Arsenal, Birmingham and Bolton, yet you wouldn't mind seeing a non league player do the draw who probably works as a brick layer. Yes. I would rather see a 'non league brick layer' who has captained his non-league side have the honour of making the draw rather than someone who hasn't pulled up any trees for any side he's played for. He was an average premier league footballer, he hadn't done anything that has given him the right to make the draw. Tell me this. Do you think he would be making the draw if he hadn't had his horrible cardiac arrest?
kingfox Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Tell me this. Do you think he would be making the draw if he hadn't had his horrible cardiac arrest? Do you think Ledley King would be making the draw, if he hadn't retired?
AKCJ Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Do you think Ledley King would be making the draw, if he hadn't retired? No, but at least he was a top class player. Mind answering the question now?
kingfox Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 No, but at least he was a top class player. Mind answering the question now? King wouldn't be doing it if he had retired, Muamba wouldn't be doing it if he didn't have that dreadful cardiac arrest. But both things happened so deal with it. Like I said, if you don't like Muamba doing it don't watch, but saying all that stuff about him and calling him average is below the belt. Anyway I am off bed, people seriously need to show some respect.

He'd be playing us this season so you could say he was below average (in terms of being a premier league footballer) Untwist your knickers and get a grip.
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Thought this was a thread about our next FA Cup opponents?
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 We're playing whoever wins this argument
martinkop1 Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 if its a big prem club, watch all the armchair supporters invade our end
martinkop1 Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 What is sick about it? Everything, I don't like the comment so that's my opinion. What about those non league players who have done the draw before, they are hardly your next Zidane, you want to complain about them as well? millions of people have heart attacks and nobody notices them, muamba was a highly paid player with average abilities, lets not hero worship anyone just because oftheir misfortune , , he survived because the high protection players get , pray for the people who dont survive , enough said
AyewJoking Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 pray for them before they dont survive, not after they havent survived.
Corky Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Bloody hell, he's only doing the FA Cup draw, not being given a knighthood.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 What? He has a point, surely? You can say is that he has been a bit of an inspiration in his recovery but I don't like how he's wheeled out for every event now, just let him live his life. This is exactly right, I cannot think of a much better reason to be asked to do a cup draw. I doubt they're forcing him to draw the FA Cup, I should think they asked him and he accepted.
HEGGSY Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Bloody hell, he's only doing the FA Cup draw, not being given a knighthood. Spot on
Dan Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Yes but Gradel's equaliser did happen so what's the point in talking about it not happening! Matter of opinions anyway i thought it was quite good. Wouldn't mind Spurs away What I mean is even with it I'd rank it as generally a poor one, which says it all. Tell you what I can see happening, MK v AFC being a draw this weekend, we get them away and then MK winning the replay, that would be the ULTIMATE piss take.
Dan Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 As for Muamba, I agree that people have over-done the whole thing and whilst I have a lot of respect for him, I don't get what makes his escape better than anyone elses. But I won't complain at him doing the draw - it's very minor really and it's a nice touch considering it was of course the FA Cup that he suffered his problem in.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Absolutely love 3rd Round draw day! Until we come out 4th ball at Forest and it's over within 10 seconds...
Soar Fox Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 That his comment is sick and there isn't any need for stuff like that. Would you like it if you had a heart attack...no of course not. He isn't a normal bloke, he is a footballer who is of course going to be in the limelight, if you don't like the fact that he is doing the draw, don't watch it. Maybe it's "banter" That's what you usually refer everything to.

The Doctor Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Well, it's the day I move back to uni so an incredibly meh draw would be good from a selfish point of view. Just not ****ing bradford away, pissed off wouldn't begin to describe it if we were drawn in my local game while I wasn't at uni.
ithuriel Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Arsenal, a big name who can mess up spectacularly
