Milton Keynes Fox Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 Not at all, forgot he even played for us before this
Bert Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 For £40,000 a week in the championship I don't miss any fooker.
Alf Bentley Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 I liked Yuki. Wouldn't swap him for King or Drinkwater, but thought he was one of our best midfielders back in the time when our midfield was crap. Would've been interesting to see how Yuki got on in our current, more wide-ranging, mobile formation. OK, probably. I don't miss Yuki, but I liked him when he was here and I wish him well. Good luck, Yuki!
ian the fox Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 average player , poor value signing , abi , wellens & gally ,wow what a team we were then
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 For £40,000 a week in the championship I don't miss any fooker. You miss Beckford...
Carl the Llama Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 I miss through the kihole. Great show. Bit dirty.
Bugg Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 Not really. Drinkwater or Abe? There isn't really much in it tbh, both are tidy players who do the same job as eachother in the team.
cc_star Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 There isn't really much in it tbh, both are tidy players who do the same job as eachother in the team. Not sure if trolling, or not? Abe made a nusience of himself... a bit like fly buzzing around a much bigger creature... a nusience but easily swatted off Drinkwater can dominate midfields - From what I've seen this season, Drinky, King & James are a different class
Bugg Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 James is a different class to Abe lol I've heard it all now. Abe was a good player for us, kept possession well and did the job that many other players didn't want to do. It's no doubt that we did well in 2010/11 when he was given a regular run in the side before being taken out of the team due to Sven's meddling by playing Bruma there instead.
AKCJ Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 There isn't really much in it tbh, both are tidy players who do the same job as eachother in the team. Give over. Take everything into account. Danny has been superb for us this season and makes us tick. If he has a poor game so does the side. He's our engine.
Bugg Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 Okay then, Drinkwater is better than Abe, but people making out like he was a poor player are totally wrong. In fact, I think he'd fit very well into our style of football this season.
Corky Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 He's not a poor player, but I think Drinkwater is a better fit for the team.

In fact, I think he'd fit very well into our style of football this season. Nobody is saying that. But he was hardly worth 40k a week. Plus he wouldn't get into the side, he's not good enough for a title chasing team IMO.
kingfox Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 At least my shirt printing with Abe 22 which I had last season, didn't cost me much. Would of been a different story if I had Beckford 20
Guesty Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 Dunno, did a job no-one else wanted - defensive mid. Peltier definatly suffered after he left - Yuki used to cover for the full-back when they went forward. But for the wages he was apparently on; no.
My Nads Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Waghorn does,he misses everything! Apart from crossbars.
