hackneyfox Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 I think we need someone with a bit of nous and experience, although another Cleverley would be welcome I feel someone who can stamp their authority on the game could be beneficial. Yes I see your point and while it is great getting kids who can improve we may be in danger of doing an Arsenal and not being able to find the players with the experience to help us push on.
TheStig Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 [quote name=davieG' timestamp='1361460997' post='2506:) 142] Oooh the Millwall fans are gonna love us for this.......
Brooksy Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Stick him straight in with Wood on Saturday. Nugent's been shocking recently.
Swalker Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Nothing bad about Kane but I would have rather had schlupp back from his Man Utd trial because I feel he deserves a chance and also covers 2 positions because Konch really wasn't great against Charlton but we had no cover for him
EnglishOxide Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 I really dont know whats going on with Schluup, is he still there? Playing for their reserves? Id much rather he was here coming off the bench for us rather than Waghorn or Vardy.
foxfanazer Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Very happy with this. At least it shows we still have our ambition to get promoted!
budfox Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Would rather send waggy out than vardy!!! Both can go on loan for me, with Waggy being sold in the Summer.
JoeTomlin Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 I think vardy needs to go out on loan now then! Does any one know who he will be replacing wood or nuge?
Danno Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 I think vardy needs to go out on loan now then! Does any one know who he will be replacing wood or nuge? Most likely will just be on the bench as cover for Nugent and Wood, hopefully better than Waghorn and Vardy ...
whoareyaaa Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 He may play him out wide or change shape and feature all 3, dropping Marshall.
FoxLAD Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 I think hardy needs to go out on loan now then! Does any one know who he will be replacing wood or nuge? to begin with i think neither, he'll be on the bench.. but is great to bring on, got pace and power!
Tielemans63 Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 A left winger as well would be ideal. Poss a central midfielder too.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 I don't know a geat deal about kane, though reports are good and NP has obviously been after him for a while, which augurs well I'm sure if he plays and doesn't score on his debut our delightful patient fans will be understanding
foxfanazer Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 I'd still like to see 1 maybe 2 more players in on loan. Shane ferguson from Newcastle and Oriol Romeu from Chelsea (not very likely) Edit:just seen that Romeu is out for the season
Babylon Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Very happy with this. At least it shows we still have our ambition to get promoted! Was signing Wood not that?
foxfanazer Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Was signing Wood not that? yeah, I meant after this tiny blip
Captain... Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Was signing Wood not that? Of course it was, to be honest I find it very strange that anyone could question our ambition this season, and especially that of our owners and managerial team who are responsible for getting Kane in. Been impressed by what little I've seen of him.
m00nie Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 harry hary kane harry harry kane (gary cool tune ) harry kewell had it..
foxfanazer Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Kane! he's gonna score for leiester Then you'll remember his name (Tune of Fame)
Dillonlcfc Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Just hope he gives us a better option upfront than Vardy, Futacs & Waghorn.
Leicester_Numan Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Millwall fans have been their usual classy selves on twitter today, giving us and Kane plenty of hate and accusing him of being greedy. Obviously they don't understand that players don't get offered higher wages in a loan deal and it comes down to a direct choice between the 2 clubs with Spurs' wishes also coming into the equation. Obviously coming here, playing in front of 20000+ in a promotion charge is going to be better for his development than going back to Millwall. Their hatred for us is really irrational, all we've done is sign 2 players that belong to other clubs and having them on loan gives them no entitlement to them whatsoever.
foxfanazer Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 If we finish in a play off place do we keep him for those games?
Happy Fox Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 If we finish in a play off place do we keep him for those games? His loan spell would be in effect to the 25th May 2013 so he would be here should we make the playoffs for the semi final legs but not the final.
