CKB Posted 26 January 2015 Posted 26 January 2015 I don't always agree with what Mark Madden says but this is spot on http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/546663-random-rumble-thoughts
CKB Posted 26 January 2015 Posted 26 January 2015 Another great write up & once again spot on http://www.wrestlezone.com/editorials/546521-wwe-royal-rumble-2015-review-mike-killam
kingfox Posted 26 January 2015 Posted 26 January 2015 Both right as well as yourself Chrisuki. I just couldn't believe how it went from a quality triple threat match, to utter shit within an hour. Vince doesn't care and never will care, he made Bryan, Ambrose and Ziggler look like a total joke, to make matters worse they will get booked into shit matches at Wrestlemania, or probably won't even feature at all. If Seth Rollins has an unsuccessful cash in, then WWE could become an unwatchable mess for a good number of years.

I wouldn't be shocked if Seth cashes in but is unsuccessful due to Orton returning & costing him the match which then sets up Rollins vs Orton at Mania Rumours going round Bryan will face Sheamus.. Nothing rumoured so far for Ziggler & Ambrose, watch them get totally shafted & end up in a tag team match against Kane & Big Slow or some shit like that
Bettsj2 Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 I dont really watch WWE anymore as it has been sliding for years but I did watch the rumble and must say it really is at the lowest point for talent that I can remember. Bully Ray isnt even a top drawer in TNA and DDP?! What is going on? Roman Reigns is not main event material and if everybody is honest, Brock Lesnar doesnt hold a candle to HHH, Stone Cold, The Rock, Taker, Angle (Prime), Jericho (Prime) etc. The rosta at the minute is a shambles and Vince should be ashamed. Its no wonder the indie scene has had a somewhat renaissance recently. Very sad. Although what you can say for Vince is the network is a stroke of genius. A million subscribers now watching old content that is light years ahead of what's served up now. Clever.
ARTY_FOX Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Triple threat was a great match, rumble was abit of a waste of time, but I really don't like Daniel Bryan so didn't care about him tbh. I just wish they'd just let a world title feud play out that doesn't involve john cena. Tbh I wish he'd just be sent back to midcard

Most fans would complain if there were none, as long as they're just for a quick pop and not hogging and limelight etc. The Network is a great idea, but so far they've lost shed loads of money through it.

Yeah I know they like the cheap pop of the guest appearance. My point was that Bubba Dudley and DDP are hardly nostalgic characters. Who next year? Repo Man? Bart Gunn? Tugboat? Its such a shame that the writing of the shows has completely deteriorated in the last 5/6 years.
Darkon84 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Anyone got any highlights or anything from the Rumble?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Anyone got any highlights or anything from the Rumble? If you mean as in video you can watch whole show for free using this http://wrestlingup.info/ good site i use it all the time and watch all shows for free
AS78UK Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 The main event and the rumble match were played in full on Raw too.
kingfox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Thought last night would suck, but it was surprisingly decent. Only disappointments for me were Paige v Nikki, and Ambrose being booked like shit again.
eye666 Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Mexican wrestler dies following match with ex-WWE superstar Rey Mysterio http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/the-turnstile/mexican-wrestler-dies-following-match-with-ex-wwe-superstar-rey-mysterio-192735547.html RIP to the chap who's lost his life. Such a shame for all involved as Rey will probably retire now following this awful accident.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Apparently the authorities might be looking into a manslaughter charge
Ross-Kemp Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Involuntary homicide if anything. I think Konnan (the producer/booker/owner) needs to be prosecuted. If anyone watches the video, you can clearly see that the poor chap is out, yet Konnan is there violently shaking him.

LCFC1996 Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Konnan's reaction is fairly heartbreaking, he's at ringside and his friend, someone who he helped bring into the business slump down unconscious in front of his eyes, the shaking him is sheer panic, its something a lot of people without medical training would do in that moment and in real time it was such a simple move that I don't think anyone thought it'd be as serious as it turned out, he shouldn't have been shaking him but a doctor should have been there before Konnan was. The company (Not AAA it was some indy event) will be in for shit for not getting the doctor or even a proper stretcher/backboard out to the ring (he was taken out on a piece of plywood). Medical report says it was a stroke caused by cervical spinal damage, the violent whiplash effect when he hit the ropes was more than likely the moment that killed him, Its just a very sad freak accident. Also Perro snr. hasn't been notified of his sons death due to his own ill health.
Ross-Kemp Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 The ref should have been the 1st on the scene, he just stood and completely ignored the fact that he was out. As a promoter, you should have adequate first aid training (if not at a basic level). Common sense dictates that if someone is out, you don't repeatedly shake them. Thoughts are with his family and also with Rey, he must be devastated.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 With Wrestlemania this weekend I decided to watch Raw to have a heads up on the story's. I really think this years Mania is going to be a struggle to watch, with only the Intercontinental ladder match looking half decent. Really hope Taker is in good shape and doesn't put in a performance like last year (concussion or not.)
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 Don't watch wrestling anymore as I'm not a child but I'm like a giddy schoolgirl over the prospect of Sting / Triple H given I grew up a WCW fanboy.
Darkon84 Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 If you've got a spare half an hour, this could be worth a watch. A jovial, but pretty accurate look at HHH's career. Stick with it for the first 5 or so minutes, where everything seems a bit odd, then it all gets better. Wrestling Isn't Wrestling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYvMOf3hsGA
