how about -insert manager name here-

The difference is that unlike Pearson, McDermott would use tactics to win games

I remember it well. Kick it long to Kebe, he flicks it on.

Wonder if any of these calling for McDermott use 'lack of media skills' as one of the reasons for wanting Nige out. McDermott is a very similar person to Pearson from what I've seen of him.

Wouldn't mind Adkins or McDermott but only if we can't get up with Big Nige.

Theyll probablly both have jobs by then so might be too late. As long as NP aka tactically inept badger faced stuborn shit trainer wearer is here we're going nowhere!

If we keep Pearson here we will defo not be going up this season ... so at least if we get in a decent manager now then imo we will as a club be moving forward ... obviously if its the right manager that is

Eh?

Which bit of signing a considerable number of 20ish year old players who will improve as individuals & with that, the team will improve - isn't the club moving forward?

Not saying he's not going to get booted out by the time I've finished typing this... But apart from dreadful form over the past month everything he's done since arriving here is about moving the club forward.

CC. I agree with most things you say, and this is no different. People need to see that there is obviously a plan in place to build a self sufficient football club.

Young manager, young players, training ground redevelopment, youth team recruitment by Pearson et al. The stadium has been bought. The steps are in place to build the club back to former glories (MoN era) where Top is familiar with.

Sacking Pearson, which ultimately mean Shakey and Walsy will go would be a huge step back.

Well that of course depends if someone who does come in can build on Pearson's hard-work better than Pearson himself can.

And no one (on FoxesTalk, the Thais, the magic sky wizard himself... or even me) can ever say for sure either way until after the event.

I think it would be suicide and considering the player turnover that follows management changes would lead to yet more transitional season & in our financial state, perhaps permanent ruin.. I think it's about time we gave a manager the duration of his contract as long as each year was an improvement on the preceding year and see what happens.

Some people don't want continual improvement though and instead want Prem football, yesterday, whatever the cost - Whereas I think not emulating Cardiff, Reading and others is the path to the kind of ongoing disaster that has accompanied us for the past 10 years.

If Pearson does get the chop after tonights game, who would you want? I'd love to see De Matteo but we'll probably end up with Adkins.

So witty and eloquent you had to say it twice? Clown. Eat your cornflakes - you're gonna be late for school.

Hey you were all surprised Erickson came. Nobody is too good for us,we are a top side on our day. We just need guidance on keeping the ball and moving toward in numbers.I think it would make Di Matteo think long & hard!!

There's already how about insert manager name thread

Why does everyone create new threads all the time.

Is Pearson still in charge? Thought he was sacked if we didn't win on Saturday? :S

Posted

I'd personally stick with Pearson now..............too late in the day to sack him. Promotion or no promotion I reckon he'll be gone in the summer anyway so best a new manager gets to start afresh.

I don't get why ppl post the moans about posting new threads. What a waste of a thread. If it bothers you that much don't f@ckin post on it then. 😡😡😡

So back to the thread.

I didn't realise he was looking at getting the sack? Or is that more if a rumour.

I think it will be a huge mistake in sacking Pearson or at least a huge gamble. Just like Cardiff did with jones a good gamble though it turned out to be.

I think he deserves another season at least.

There is a lot of ppl who don't think we should go up yet as we're not ready, maybe there right. But I would hope that if we did go up the very rich owners would give us the money to invest in new players. But again I do feel that we're not far off a top side now. Ok we're not the side of the late 90's but in time we could be.

So after my off the subject soap box moment the answer is. No one ta stick with Pearson.
