Poznan34 Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Kasper Moore Morgan Keane RDL Konch James Drinky Knockaert Nugent Schlupp I would go with that but Kane in for Nugent.
cc_star Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 1-2 win to us. Unless Wood starts - in which case 3-0 to Brighton.
Pasturesfox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Has Wood and Kane started up front together ? I cant remember, might be interesting to get the two of them to sort it out themselves and not worry about Nugent critcising

Mack Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 We will lose so who cares? I can only assume the owners are letting this charade continue for short term financial reasons.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Time to give Waghorn, Vardy or Schlupp a go up top for this. Wood and Nugent have done fvck all in the last few games. 2-1 win. Schlupp yes, but Waghorn or Vardy, no.
maynefox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Kasper Moore Morgan Keane Schlupp Knocky Wellens (till half time) Drinkwater Dyer Waghorn Wood Logan RDL James King Nugent go for 2v0 Brighton.

Guest Col city fan Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Keep it simple, 4-4-2 but in a diamond Schmichael (god) RB. MOORE CB. MORGAN CB. KEANE LB. SCHLUPP CDM. DRINKY RM. KNOCKY LM. DYER CAM. KING ST. WAGGY. ST. WOOD Subs; 1. Logan 2. RDL (if fit enough or Whitbread if not) 3. James 4. Nugent 5. Kane Though I like your team selection mate, with that formation I promise you, we will be completely over-run in the midfield. Drinky effectively on his own in front of the back four, we'd be picked off.

I cant remember, might be interesting to get the two of them to sort it out themselves and not worry about Nugent critcising Started one game, won 3-0.... I totally forgot about Kane as well. He might actually not be a bad shout, takes a lot of harsh stick from our fans for missing a couple of chances and being played ridiculously out of position. The one game he started up front was the one very good game we've played in the last two months.

Brooksy Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 I fancy Jonathon Moss to give us a dodgy peno or two in this game,

oxtonfox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Am I missing something or is Wes Morgan suspended (3 games for straight red vs. Milwall). If RDL is injured then we're struggling in the back 4. I would go for Schmiechel - Moore, Keane, Whitbread, Schlupp - Wellens (protecting but not sure he's fit enough) - Marshall (on a recovery mission!), Drink, King, Dyer (link with Schluppy) - Kane (must be his turn given failure of his striking peers). I'd drop Konch as he's been a liability last few games. James has disappointed me when I have watched. Whitbread scares me but who else do we have now SSL has gone to Milwall? I think we need 5 in midfield with 1 or 2 supporting lone striker on break otherwise we will get overrun as usual. Although Brighton were held by Charlton I expect they will turn it up for us and I fear a 4th successive defaet. I personally think we will get a bigger beating than at Barnsley, in a similar vane to last season at Reading which nailed our faint hopes. So, I think, successive worst defeats for us. I am hoping but I have little faith in our lot and I think we may end up mid table much like our collapse in Peter Taylor's first season when we last 11 out of the last 12 following the Wycombe cup exit.

Finnaldo Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Starts here boys. You wait till Vardy mis-hits one into the the top corner at Wembley in the dying minutes of the game against Forest. You wait.

One match ban for Morgan as it was a professional foul, and wasn't for violent conduct so he'll be back on Saturday. Anyway, I'd go for; Kasper Moore - Keane - Morgan - RDL/Taft Wellens - Drinkwater Marshall - Knockaert - Schlupp Kane Couldn't really decide who to play left back, as Konchesky is absolutely awful, so I've gone for RDL, if he's fit, if he isn't I'd be entitled to give Taft a chance. He wants to play for Leicester rather than just pick up his final pay cheque and as shown at Barnsley the younger players have the desire some of the older players don't.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Feel more confident having Morgan back. Couldn't half tell we missed him at Barnsley. I've got a feeling it'll be a late goal that decides this one, as it was last year.
David Guiza Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 I'd go with as similar team to away at Cardiff as possible, with it being a similar type of game. Hopefully snatch a scrappy 1-0, but I'm not at all confident.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Well this game at the weekend is season defining for us and a must win game for all those involved. I feel that we need to show some real quality here and take away 3 points I just wanted to know what your guys' starting 11 would be. Personally, I'd go for something along the lines of: Kasper Moore Morgan Keane Konchesky Wellens James Marshall Knockaert Wood Schlupp For me, Schlupp proved against Barnsley that he is an attacking player and personally I'd be bitterly disappointed if he plays instead of Konchesky and proved his worth up-front Marshall, last season, played some excellent football when he played in a free midfield role and scored some cracking goals (Chelsea and Hull come to mind) and also some great quality from a cracking young player. Wellens and James, I think, would work well as a hard-tackling midfield, something which we have lacked at times this season. I'd love to see Danns back in the starting 11, but without that option I'd stick with this. When Wellens tires, my substitute for him would be Connor Clifford. Knockaert, for me, works better and is more of a threat when he is played in a more attacking role than the bog-standard 4-4-2 RM position and would like to see him playing as a winger or part of a 3 man attack. Wood has be unlucky in recent games because of the lack of form shown by the striking force as a unit. But he is still our biggest goal threat, in my opinion, and is deadly when provided with a good ball. My bench for this would be: Logan, De Laet, Dyer, Whitbread, Clifford, Waghorn, King Will be interesting to see how Nige approaches this but I am full of confidence that we will come away from the Amex with 3 points and a surprising, given the circumstances, performance by our team.
lcfc will Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 I'd go for: Schmeichel Moore Morgan Keane Konchesky Drinky James King Knockaert. Schlupp Waghorn Moore is more defensive than De Laet therefore I would go for him. Konchesky for lack of a better option. I think that Waghorn would do a good job up front on his own and Wood and Nugent need to be shown that they can be dropped. Knockaert needs to be given more freedom and Schlupp has shown that he can do a good job in an attacking role.
beryllind Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Kasper Moore Morgan Keane Konchesky Wellens James Marshall Knockaert Wood Schlupp Same for me Win 2-1
Sods Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Main game on FLS Saturday so that basically means there will be a stream available.
