Might be true, but, we all knew he wasn't the finished article because he would be in United's first team, which one day i'm sure he will. Very committed and passionate in all the games he played in though. Didn't have 'I'm from United' type attitude. Would have him back on loan in a flash.

I agree with this, new contract should go on the table and if he doesn't want to sign the sensible thing to do is cash in.

If we could, surely there would have been a contract on the table for him already? Why should he take a pay cut? He was the best keeper in the league last year. That says to me the bloke deserves a pay rise! Dont get me wrong Id love to see him at the KP for the next few seasons, but I think its pretty obvious we cannot afford to hand him a new contract
