Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 5live say there are rumours Clough has been sacked
MC Prussian Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Confirmed now: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24320051 Nigel Clough sacked by Derby County with immediate effect.
BHAFC Braders Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Absolute shambles , no excuses - even worse then we were against Millwall a few weeks back, not one single player turned up for us Today. STILL don't think we'll finish near the bottom but it's going to be tough to push top 10 let alone top 6 how we played Today!!
Kitchandro Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Feel sorry for Nigel Clough. Took over at a time when Derby really needed a 4-5 year 'plan'. This day and age of course NO manager is ever going to get that! Thought myself though that the Derby under Clough were a damn sight better than the Derby immediately before he took over. Hope he gets another job soon! Really? I don't think they've improved at all. And they've in fact got worse at times. Take Will Hughes out and they're just a team of talentless nobodies. Theo Robinson is shit but the current strikers make him look like Drogba in his pomp. I think he's had long enough, if they were going to get anywhere near promotion they'd have done it by now. They looked atrocious today, an awful side.
Guest Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 http://www.the-wanderer.co.uk/boards/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=25015&start=240 They're working Beckford out. Same conversation we all had on FT a couple of years back. If I could be bothered I'd paste a link to our Beckford thread on their site. Fortunately I'm a lazy so and so
Happy Fox Posted 29 September 2013 Posted 29 September 2013 The sheepshaggers are no.more than midtable mediocrity so it is bemusing to sack Clough
MGLCFC Posted 29 September 2013 Posted 29 September 2013 Zaha linked with Forest in today's nationals, although Moyes is reluctant to let him go there. Perhaps he could send him in our direction?
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 September 2013 Posted 29 September 2013 Interesting how Millwall's good form seems to have coincided with Waghorn going there? Probably a mere coincidence but interesting nonetheless.
foxfanazer Posted 29 September 2013 Posted 29 September 2013 How many players do forest want. Zaha would be good for us, great cover for dyer Interesting how Millwall's good form seems to have coincided with Waghorn going there? Probably a mere coincidence but interesting nonetheless. He has looked very good to be fair. Good luck to him
RedHux Posted 29 September 2013 Posted 29 September 2013 Billy goes for uncontainable targets and then when it doesn't come off he can claim he wasn't backed.
Corky Posted 29 September 2013 Posted 29 September 2013 My favourite Derby manager gone, sadly. Should've been last Wednesday, to be a fitting end to a reign dominated by one result: a loss at Leicester.
stink1884 Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 http://www.the-wanderer.co.uk/boards/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=25015&start=240 They're working Beckford out. i love this comment 'Not hard to see why Leicester fans are laughing at us looking at Beckfords body language and his one on one efforts,.' Glad to see the back of him.
BoneDog Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 I hope Nigel Clough is sat at home with his arms folded and feet up watching SSN with a smug smile on his face.
Corky Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 Derby are relieved that, for once, a team scoring 4 against them isn't Leicester.
Matt Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 Is McClaren in charge of Derby tonight or does he take charge at the weekend?
Matt Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 Brighton 0 - 1 Sheff Wed. The prolific goalscorer Matty Fryatt.
Kitchandro Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 it's all the better since Whitbread is their only scorer
purpleronnie Posted 1 October 2013 Posted 1 October 2013 Burnley winning. Again...wtf is up with them this season.
