Corky Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 Darius Henderson's miss was glorious. Slotted it perfectly past the post with no one in front of him.
TJB-fox Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 I think those over-praising Leeds must remember Birmingham are gash and we shouldve wonby a similar scoreline. As for forest, isnt it brilliant seeing those b'mouth fans going mad, at forests expense!
BHAFC Braders Posted 21 October 2013 Posted 21 October 2013 So we're being linked with Dexter Blackstock it seems. We need something , we've been shambolic this season - starting to think Gus was right , we've hit our ceiling.

Ric Flair Posted 21 October 2013 Posted 21 October 2013 They've had loads of results like that over the last two seasons but for some reason he's remained as manager, though i've got to say this time i think the road is coming to an end for him. If he does leave i can see either Darren Ferguson going there or wait for it McLeish returning. On Leeds i've got to say they looked impressive and it won't be long until they start causing us problems near the top, McDermott appears to be starting to settle in now! That Matt Smith had some power on his goals! Leeds, they are several players short of being top 6 but they do have a decent manager. McCormack is quality and they did well to keep hold of him, even if it was Middlesborough who were after him who are dog muck. Clark can't have long left, Lingard has bailed him out the shilo of late but he'll be gone soon as will Dave Jones I reckon.

I'm surprised Dave Jones as lasted this long in a season, with Mandaric being there you'd have thought he would have got rid of him at the first sign of danger. I also think Mowbray was two goals away from getting the sack. If Jones was to be sacked i think his replacement would be either be Nigel Clough (unless he joins Sheff Utd) or Paolo Di Canio.
Corky Posted 21 October 2013 Posted 21 October 2013 Mandaric is in the process of looking to sell the club, he'll probably wait until that is done and allow the next owners to sack Jones and pay his compensation.

svensson Posted 21 October 2013 Posted 21 October 2013 Not sure how Mowbray has lasted this long. Best chairman/owner in all of football apart from ours of course. He is also from boro. As for Clark, Birmingham have less money than Lee Hendrie, they couldn't afford to sack him.

Yeah I saw a while back he was feeling sorry for himself, looking for pity, saying how he is losing money, putting his own money into SWFC, similar to how he did here and was looking to sell. ...Wouldn't surprise me if he goes and buys another football club though, he doesn't learn does he?
EcclesallOwl Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Jones won't be sacked until the club is sold

Doesn't learn? Or just isn't very truthful? He's not a complete idiot. He knew exactly what he was doing when he sold us. Didn't give a shit how he left us.
superhorns2 Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Maybe you could loan a temporary stand... like you do with players. Have Udinese got one?! Maybe you could loan a temporary stand... like you do with players. Have Udinese got one?! The stand has been knocked down to build a creche for the french kid in case he starts crying again!!!
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 The stand has been knocked down to build a creche for the french kid in case he starts crying again!!! What? Like you did at Wembley?
The Horse's Mouth Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Birmingham are just shit aren't they? Time for Clarke to go. Why would they sack him? It's not as if he's had anything to work with, until they get rid of Zigic with his rising wage. They should be happy that they're still in the championship.
Super_horns Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 I think the problem is there is no-one to sack Clarke! Who actually runs Birmingham now the owner is awaiting trial?

They should be happy that they're still in the championship. Didn't they finish in the play-offs before he joined? 'Nothing to work with' is an overused phrase in the Championship and could be attributed to most sides. Who does have a lot to work with? Very few clubs when you look at it. QPR and Watford are miles ahead of the rest. Other than that you've got Forest, Reading, Blackburn and Bolton maybe with something to spend (Us in previous seasons I suppose). Everyone else has bugger all to spend so they're all on the same level. Birmingham have given him a bit of time and they've barely risen out of lower midtable, and they're getting worse.

That's because the club is an utter shambles off the pitch. The team Hughton had is a lot different to what Clark has had. Sacking Clark would achieve nothing in the current state they're in.
Corky Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 The stand has been knocked down to build a creche for the french kid in case he starts crying again!!! Did you get promoted after running on the pitch?
superhorns2 Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Did you get promoted after running on the pitch? We had a super day out at Wembley, load of cash for the club. Signed most of loan players for peanuts, new stand soon, still playing great football. Well inside FFP. I'm sure we are enjoying watching our team more than Palace fans are watching their miserable rabble being thrashed each week. Has the hoofball started yet at the KP or do you have to wait till the new year?
