What's wrong with switching over to cricket like the good old days?

I'm not a massive cricket fan but I find getting involved a bit passes the time quite nicely. Plus as a sport it still has some kind of rural unassuming charm which is ever so pleasant on a warm summer evening and you may even find yourself forgetting all about the shallow hustle and bustle of modern football.

So depressing following Leicestershire though. Woeful.

I blame Wellens.

Cricket is OK when you go to where it's being played on a nice, warm day, with beers & burgers etc.

But when watching it on the television, it can get fairly boring after a period of time.

How's Andrew Driver getting on? Is he there permanently?

On loan I believe, he's doing well he scored the winner against Dallas so he's loved already.

Cricket is terrible. When people say they like cricket what they really mean is they like sitting in the sun and drinking beer.

The thought of watching cricket makes me cry, not that I've ever been down grace road.

Going to twickenham in 2 weeks though, go every year although I wouldn't have gone if wembley was on the agenda. Great day out drinking in richmond before and after the game with my old man and his mates, then a night out in LDN with my mates. Its nice to have something to look forward to instead of replaying sunday in my head :D oh and a week in zante in 2 months.

Terrible in your opinion, and plenty of people like watching cricket.

Less of the sweeping generalisations

I'm also on the red bulls due to Timmy Cahill and the fact i'm seeing a game in August

What's the issue, it just makes a good sport even better. Bit like singing at the football.

Ashes is on you can all watch England Smash us Aussies.

Missing a golden opportunity folks... get into this...

Dont get sucked into supporting St Kilda or any of those dodgy Victorian sides.

Low blow we are a great team to support, slowly re building but we still have some pretty good players and the best in the league, the blond bombshell Rooey!
