Oh you can guess what I'm saying then, read what I wrote and not make assumption, it made me laugh how easy they didn't want to follow Leicester end of.

And just to make it clear if I post something and you don't like the way it sounds tough its a forum

Well in the case of those who don't want to go cos he's staying may I say...

Right... I understand why some managers are detested by a majority of certain fanbases, due to overspends, relegations, even characteristics.

Now can someone please explain to me - in all seriousness - why the minority who don't like Pearson are REALLY against him?

He's a smart guy doing a good job where balancing success and budget is tricky. He's got the club's best interests at heart, pulled us out of the third tier on first asking and achieved play-off positions in his subsequent 2 full seasons in charge.

I don't want the excuse of "3 wins in 18" garbage, the fact we finished 6th means that the rest of the season was good enough to balance out the poor run (which all teams experience at some point)

Why do you hate him really? Why will his continuing leadership spell "disaster"? Why don't you think we'll have any success next season? Serious answers please

It wouldn't explain why they hated him before then anyway.

In fact I remember people like Hackney saying Pearson had 'failed' when Sousa was in charge and we had clearly regressed.

Err... First of all, where were you when we were REALLY shit (a few seasons ago)? Also, does your season always start in February?

You and all the other Pearson haters (and you really don't like the guy for whatever irrational reason) may want to check out self-helping groups that can assist you with your phase(s) of mourning.

Other than that, cheer up. Things can only get better. And they will.

NOW that really made me lol

YOU snap at people that don.t agree with your thoughts

YOU think that Pearson is the next best thing to sliced bread

then end with the statement that things can only get better

think before you type silly boy

I would say hated is a bit unfair, I can't see what the problem is, a section of our support think he's good enough, some don't.

I think it's a forum were opinions are debated, but admittedly both sides of the argument try to force there opinions on others, and believe only there opinion is valid.

My opinion is I don't think we can progress under Pearson, but I supported him.

He lost my support when he couldn't explain why we only won 3 out of 18 or how he was going to resolve it, and for me and others can only make our own explanations, I came to the conclusion that he got his tactics wrong and was tactically inept.

And then to turn to the fans and say if you don't like it don't come, I find that completely arrogant, to go on one of the worst runs in our history, and to be served up what can only be described as numerous appalling performances, I think the fans have a right to grumble, and to be fair I have seen managers get far worse than he did in my time following Leicester.

In a time which is hard for all working class people, he needs to understand that we are not all on his wages, and we pay alot of money to be entertained, which for periods we were, but for longer periods we weren't.

So hate him no, couldn't careless about him, don't think he is right for the club yes.

But this is my opinion which in the grand scheme of things means nothing, and will change nothing.

And for or against him we all need to agree to disagree and alot need to stop taking it personally, Leicester city will still be here no matter who is in charge.

Err... Do we know each other? Who are you? Please tell me you're not a secondary account of somebody that I used to know.

Besides, if you followed my posts closely enough, you'd find out pretty easily that I've always said that Pearson is a good manager. Not a great one, but a good one. And I've stated numerous times that I want him to be given at least one more season. That is all.

Btw, say hello to 5waller5 from me.

A good response, young man. And after a day of reading petty squabbles on here, it genuinely made me smile to see that the person who was 'challenging' you, was the one that gave you the rep point ! Restored my confidence in FTers today ;)

I think Nigel Pearson is the man. He has given Leicester best positions in the last 8 years, both play off places and a promotion. No team is guaranteed success, no team is entitled to promotion. Some teams go decades without promotion. Nigel Pearson is going about it the right way, bringing in some great young players, like Knockaert, and using his money well. I'd rather wait another 2 years in The Championshp while Pearson builds a good team that could survive in the Premier League than have more big spending shit and greedy players like we had with Sven.

If Pearson is given two more years, we'll be promoted and I think we'll stay there. I'd rather have Pearson that O'Neill, after his time at Sunderland he'll be in a bit of a slump and the pressure on returning to Leicester would probably be too much.
