MC Prussian Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 He could've waited for better, surely. I assume you're talking about Solskjaer. He'll just be another patsy in Tan's grand scheme of things. Suicidal job choice - still, I wish him well. Just not with Cardiff.
purpleronnie Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 He could've waited for better, surely. You would've thought so, didn't want him to go there, such a likeable fellow... oh well.
ScouseFox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Should've gone to West Brom (might never have been an option, who knows) but fair play I'd take a Premier League job over Molde, Tan or no Tan.
Kitchandro Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Who was the fat fecker refereeing the Arsenal game? How can you be a professional referee, paid to keep fit for a living and be that obese? As in genuinely obese. It's absolutely ridiculous. EDIT: It was Jon Moss. What a surprise. It just makes me angry every time I see him. The cvnt should never have reffed another match again after that one at the City ground. Yet week after week he steals a living reffing the biggest games in the country involving Arsenal, Man U etc. I do agree with Moyes tbh. That really should have been a penalty and a red card - if an outfield player had tackled like that he would have been straight down the tunnel.
Super_horns Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 I'd be surprised if he can keep up with play. As for Man U - Spurs. Get the feeling had that Lloris incident been with anyone else but Young the penalty would have been given. Kevin Nolan must have a few issues at the moment to get himself sent off twice in a few weeks for the same thing?
Tom17LCFC Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Delighted to see Young not given the penalty when it did look pretty stone wall. Serves the cheating cvnt right, likewise Januzaj.
Father Ted Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Rather annoyed after watching last nights MOTD for a few reasons. Firstly, seeing Jon Moss referee in the Premier League makes me feel sick. Not only is he quite possibly the worst referee ever to referee us (Forest away 2-2 under Sven) but he is morbidly obese. My mum burst out howling when she seen him running last night! Secondly is the punditry. With Kevin Kilbane on the other week, I honestly thought it could not get any worse but how can Fowler and Hamann not pick up on Welbecks dive (probably because he is English and it's perceived that only foreigners dive in the EPL) and not even argue against the decision to show Kevin Nolan a red card! Had Suarez dived like Welbeck then they would have been all over it - just like they were last night on Oscar's dive. As for Kevin Nolan's red, he's ran into the back of the player, after the player has purposely stepped in front of him to block off his path and then gone down like a sack of shit to get Nolan sent off, if that's a red card then football has gone crazy. Thirdly, that w*nker Jonathan Pearce does my head in. Not just with his 'Cathorla' but his bias towards Man United. Listen again to his commentary on the United-Spurs game last night, claims of Tottenham's goal being totally against the run of play (which it may have been but it wasn't like either side had any great chances up until then), claiming that Welbeck should have had a penalty for his dive, claiming that there was contact (but if that was Suarez for example, he would have been screaming his nuts off calling it a dive and that he manufactured the contact), overplayed the Lloris - Young incident (which btw I don't think was a penalty, was a correct call by Howard Webb - put it this way, if a winger goes to put a cross in and the full back takes him out in the follow through after attempting to block the cross then nothing would be given). Also claimed that Januzaj never dived, I watched that live and on MOTD they never showed the natural camera angle in which it was BLATANT that Januzaj was falling long before Danny Rose charged towards him. I have some new found respect for Howard Webb after that - made all the correct calls despite old Moyesy crying about him.
Father Ted Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Moyes moaning about not getting a penalty- "worst decision I have ever seen " all over the papers :xmaslaugh: perhaps if Young wasn't such a cynical diving cheat with a reputation for conning officials the ref might not have judged it so harshly. Still well done David- you're learning the Man u way quickly- need to check your watch in an ostentatious manner a little more though He's trying to imitate Fergie more and more every time I see United play. Comes out of the tunnel doing the Fergie arm wave to the crowd. Moaning about referees and decisions constantly in post match interviews. Doing the evil glare, no longer nice man Moyes.

No, if the full back flew in with 2 feet way off the floor and got nowhere near the ball I'm pretty sure a penalty and a red would have been given. Goalkeepers get away with murder.

Loved and hated the way Hamann contradicted himself when talking about Yaya Toure. Said that he didn't work enough defensively with Fernandinho but then says the less defensive responsibility he has the better he is. Well yeah, that's why you should always play to your strengths, Didi. .

Super_horns Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Poor Adam Lallana didn't like Mark Clattenburg "abusing" him - but when you see the alleged comment there is no abuse. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2533310/Mark-Clattenburg-cleared-referees-chiefs-abusing-Adam-Lallana.html Goodness know what they think of the players conduct on the pitch...now that is "unacceptable" at times.
Stadt Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Lallana probably 'abused' him first and anyway it's not exactly the most offensive insult ever, is it?

It's probably true that refs should set an example and not sink to players' level. On the other hand, I'd rather refs gave a bit back rather than just sending a player off for being pissed off at him. After all, being a ref he's probably a cvnt who's made a shit decision which isn't going to negatively affect him in any other way. That's how adults handle things. Somebody give you stick and you tell them to piss off. They're all grown men and there's nothing wrong with a few heated words. It's sport, it's a passionate game. Lallana should grow up, the pussy.

It was like what he did against Liverpool, just what they showed on MOTD. Everybody has seen it, even Allardyce has said it was unprofessional of Nolan as captain.

What are you on about saying the passed over the Welbeck dive, but went on and on about the Oscar dive. They showed numerous replays of the Welbeck one, with Lineker and Hamann disagreeing on whether he dived, but they actually didn't talk at all about Oscar. Lineker actually said something about it being a dive but not bothering going over it because Mourinho had already accepted it was a dive.
