RowlattsFox Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Would any of the man utd starting team today get into a man city, Chelsea or even Arsenal team? Just looks really average for a club this size.
Unabomber Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Would any of the man utd starting team today get into a man city, Chelsea or even Arsenal team? Just looks really average for a club this size. Nope. The only 2 world class players they have are Rooney and RVP.
Corky Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Man United look really ponderous and slow, Swans passing it around nicely but don't have a killer edge at the end of it. Fergie isn't there today so no excuses.

Vacamion Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 PL Relegation Battle Just 6 points separating Hull in 10th place and Palace in 20th I think this is good news for whichever clubs go up this year (fingers crossed it's us). Outside of your usual top of the table giants, there is not a massive gulf in class amongst the rest. In line with the trend in recent years, whoever gets promoted this season should have a reasonable chance of staying up.
Leicesterpool Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 So whose going to be in this years bottom three? For me: Fulham, Norwich & Crystal Palace (though i wouldn't rule out Palace getting out, but at the moment there lacking experience and quality in the team)

MC Prussian Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 So whose going to be in this years bottom three? For me: Fulham, Norwich & Crystal Palace (though i wouldn't rule out Palace getting out, but at the moment there lacking experience and quality in the team) I'd stick with Fulham and Crystal Palace, as well. But to me, the third club to get relegated from the Premier League this May will be Cardiff. At least Norwich know how to survive in this league, Cardiff look so unbalanced and weak going forward. I can't see Solskjaer turning the ship around in time. Crystal Palace have a rather weak squad and Fulham are in complete disarray.
Kitchandro Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 The way they're obsessing over Andy Carroll on MOTD is ridiculous. Talking about him like he's Suarez or something. And Gaston Ramirez WTF is he thinking with those corn rows. Looks an absolute bell.
MC Prussian Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 That save by McGregor Great, no doubt. But I thought Boruc's against Shane Long was even better. That reaction - Long was just a few inches away from him.
Carl the Llama Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 BBC are a fvcking joke how much they lick the arse of anything Man Utd. Chelsea win to go top of the league shoved to the side in favour of OMG UTD WON GUYS, topped off with an innocuous post match comment by Moyes plastered across the 'breaking news' bar:
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 Adam Johnson's always been a player I highly rated, but a person I dislike. What a wasted talent hes been the past couple of years, especially when he's almost admitted on MOTD that he's not really been trying very hard.
Jimothy Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 Watching Sunday Supplement. Can't believe there's so much talk of Terry coming back into the England squad. I know we're not blessed with great centre backs these days, but he's not THAT good. I wasn't watching Hull Chelsea yesterday but heard Kevin Kilbane going on about his brilliance yesterday on 5live, I watch motd and the first thing I see him do is pass the ball straight to a Hull player and Sagbo nearly scores. I've never been a huge Terry fan anyway, always thought he was vastly overrated, but he's dropped a level in the last couple of years. He's only at the level of what we have now, I don't see a reason to go back.
21st Century Fox Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 West Ham have offered Joleon Lescott £90,000 p/w to join them (£70,000 if relegated!)
Jimothy Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 What a strike only to be ruined by the lino! Absolutely nothing wrong with that goal. None of them are in Harts line of vision, none of them touch it. Shockingly bad.
Unabomber Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 Absolutely nothing wrong with that goal. None of them are in Harts line of vision, none of them touch it. Shockingly bad. Surely he can't disallow it unless he is 100% sure.
Jimothy Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 Surely he can't disallow it unless he is 100% sure. Exactly. He's guessing. It's not his job to guess, it's his job to know. When he knows he makes a call, when he doesn't he has to leave it. Very bad officiating.

Very bad officiating. Was such a great strike too, and he has only ever scored one other! I bet he is fuming.
