Stadt Posted 24 January 2014 Posted 24 January 2014 They want stability which Moyes offered Everton. He built Everton up, and created a team of good footballers - the likes of Jelavic, Baines, Osman, Piennar are all good footballers - with a very tight budget. He did well in the PL at times, they were one of the teams that people thought could break the top 4, but his only let down was the lack of trophies although I remember him losing an FA Cup final against Chelsea. This Manchester United squad he has inherited is horrid, and probably the worst I've seen. Needs some real improving, and like I said before, I could only see three players with a chance of getting into other squads in the division and those three are Van Persie, Rooney and Carrick. Moyes never won away at the 'big four' at any given time in 10 years and has never won a trophy whilst spending a bit of money, certainly had more than a shoe string as the media often suggests.

True, still not enough to compete with the top four. He's had money this year, and Fellaini wasn't exactly a great signing. The only time Moyes won at the big four was in the domestic trophies.

Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Sky Sports 'understands' Liverpool want to re-sign Tom Ince.
foxfanazer Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Meh Am I the only one who thinks he's hugely overrated?
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Meh Am I the only one who thinks he's hugely overrated? No, completely agree.
One Legged Beaver Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Meh Am I the only one who thinks he's hugely overrated? Not at all!
foxfanazer Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Think Liverpool are better than that now. Need tobe looking to add real quality to cement themselves as a top 4 side again. They won't get a better chance with United seemingly vacating their position this season
Corky Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Have to feel for Kenwyne Jones, heavily linked with Everton yet is joining Cardiff. What a comedown.
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Have to feel for Kenwyne Jones, heavily linked with Everton yet is joining Cardiff. What a comedown. A player who refuses to be in a match day squad deserves everything he gets.
Corky Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 A player who refuses to be in a match day squad deserves everything he gets. Absolutely, probably ended Everton's interest in him too. Odemwingie going to Stoke as part of the deal.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Why have Swansea signed David N'Gog?! Laudrup has definitely been on the ales
One Legged Beaver Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Why have Swansea signed David N'Gog?! That's just what I was thinking, scored 3 goals in 17 league games this season and is languishing near the bottom of the championship
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 When Rafa said he could be like Thierry Henry, we all knew he was going to fail.
Fox92 Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Swansea are really struggling, not just in the league, but in terms of injuries. I don't rate N'Gog either but at least they've got a striker in. Hope they stay up, I think they will.
Bayfox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 They didnt need a striker. Bony and michu are decent.
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Michu has been out for a while, Swansea desperately needed a striker.
Kitchandro Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 A player who refuses to be in a match day squad deserves everything he gets. I love that his reasoning for going to Cardiff was 'to play football' Dick.
StanSP Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 They didnt need a striker. Bony and michu are decent. One's injured and as decent as Bony is, Swansea are fvcked if Bony gets injured. Now that Ngog has moved there, Swansea are still fvcked if Bony gets injured.
marko Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Looks like Cabaye is off to PSG. Deal just been agreed. Big loss for them.
Unabomber Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Shame he is leaving the prem as he is a player I liked watching.
Bayfox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Ok I get the money. The champions league football and the fact he is french. but bar monaco is it not a bit like scotland? Michu has been out for a while, Swansea desperately needed a striker. so why didnt they sign one....
Guest MattP Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Anelka makes a Nazi salute and within a month Lazio want him lol
MC Prussian Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Anelka makes a Nazi salute and within a month Lazio want him lol I thought the quenelle was an anti-zionist salute primarily?
