One Legged Beaver Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Surprised Negredo went off instead of Dzeko there.
RowlattsFox Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Matic has looked class. First time I've really seen him play.
VinceNoir Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Demechelis is awful. Fernandinho has become such a vital part of this team, they're missing him tonight. And Aguero obviously.
Jimothy Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 I stand by what I said at the start about Demichelis playing in midfield. Lunacy from Pelleigrini. The game is being lost in midfield. Both teams are playing a centre back in the centre of midfield, the difference being David Luiz has all the attributes of midfielder. He's mobile, has an excellent range of passing, can tackle. Demichelis is too slow, his passing is nothing special, and he dives into tackles. You only have to watch the analysis of Bridcutt at the start of the program to see how a quality defensive midfielder plays, covering all the areas of the pitch, nothing like Demichelis tonight.
ScouseFox Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Bloody hell, off the post again. Great defending when needed there too.
Unabomber Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Piers Morgan saying Hazard is overrated on twitter. I stand by what I said at the start about Demichelis playing in midfield. I go against what I said about Pellegrini knowing what he is doing
Jimothy Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Piers Morgan saying Hazard is overrated on twitter. I go against what I said about Pellegrini knowing what he is doing Just comes across as playing him because he knows him, rather than choosing him on merit.
One Legged Beaver Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 It will be a travesty if Chelsea don't win this, been magnificent tonight!
ScouseFox Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 I can clearly see now why Jose was so bloody delighted to sign Matic. What a boss he's been in the middle tonight.
Haydos Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Demichellis is ****ing woeful. Embarrassingly unfit or lazy and poor quality. Why Milner isn't playing there is beyond me. Highlights the difference in ability between Pellegrini and Mou.
One Legged Beaver Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Nastasic a very lucky lad there, could easily have been red.
Guest ttfn Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 6 of the 22 on the field are from the old Yugoslavia. Incredible really
Super_horns Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Demichellis is ****ing woeful. Embarrassingly unfit or lazy and poor quality. Why Milner isn't playing there is beyond me. Was pretty hopeless against us even. Sounds like Jose has won the tactical battle - he'll love it.
Carl the Llama Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 In what possible way does Man Utd - Fulham class as a "big match"?
One Legged Beaver Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Willian, Matic, Cahill and Hazard were all immense today! MOTM has to be Mourinho though, tactical wizard.
Kitchandro Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Not sure I'd call that a 'masterclass' exactly. Chelsea were good first half but second half they were essentially just typical Chelsea; a load of big bastards throwing their big fat heads at everything. It was Mourinho all over, playing for a clean sheet. Good enough to win but I'm hardly going to be raving about it for weeks. Man City just played shite tonight. Seriously missed Aguero and other players didn't turn up at all. In fact, a lot of them almost didn't look bothered. Maybe Chelsea just wanted it more.
foxfanazer Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Hazard, Matic and Cahill were fantastic tonight. Mourinho won the tactical battle
Lionator Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Would've been a different story if Aguero + Fernandinho (especially) were fit. Now for the Jose toss-off.

Big sides have gone to Man City and been annihilated. Mourinho set up to counter and did so brilliantly and should've won by 3 or 4. City looked shite because Chelsea dominated them all over the park.
foxfanazer Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Between Willian and Matic for MOTM for me.Hazard with Matic and Cahill 2nd and 3rd
