Bob Weasel Fox Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Still dont want Liverpool to win the leagueThis
Dan Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Chelsea are probably the most unpleasant, Liverpool have the most tiresome fans and Man City are maybe the most 'plastic'. Deciding which one I want to win the league is like choosing which one out of my cock and two balls I would like sliced off with a rusty knife. I can empathise with this.
Corky Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 You must be fvcking joking if you don't think Chelsea are the most horrible club of the 3. Everything about them is scum from top to bottom. And look at them today. A man up against a very average Swansea side and they just play shit and boring as always. Grinding out wins in the most boring way possible. Hate them. They'rre just a better Stoke (well, Pulis' Stoke at least). I'm not a huge fan of Liverpool but at least their matches are entertaining. They play entertaining football and as a neutral you want to see goals. Same with Man City, who have a lot of likeable top players. Chelsea have virtually nothing appealing, apart from Oscar and Hazard.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Just watching MOTD and Suarez should of been sent off All that's wrong in football the dirty cheating fvck pig Skrtel cheated by punching a cross away aswell Henderson tackle was awful

AKCJ Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Can't help but applaud Gerrard. Awesome leadership at the end. Bow your head in shame, infidel!!! Apparently he was shit today. Missed chance after chance. I'm yet to see anything decent from him, but he's young and has plenty of chance to prove himself.
StanSP Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 He was shite today, Salah. Wrong decision after wrong decision. Finishing was all over the place.

I'm yet to see anything decent from him, but he's young and has plenty of chance to prove himself. True. With a proper pre-season under his belt and some shuffling in the Chelsea starting eleven provided, he'll make a much bigger impact next season. He was a tidy player with Basel and one of the driving motors in midfield, always at hand with a neat move or two to turn games around.
Grandad. Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Choosing between Liverpool and City to win the title is like choosing which leg you want cut off, fvcking horrible clubs. I don't like Chelsea either but id rather they win it. Wow, good way of trying to sound like Gary Neville. -- First half we were fantastic today and then couldn't get a grip of the ball for the first 30 minutes of the second half, credit to Man City, most teams have crumbled when being down to us at half time by a couple of goals. Thought Skrtel, Gerrard, Coutinho and Sterling were magnificent, minus the red card Henderson put another monster shift in, he is going to be a big loss in the next 3 games. Joe Allen did well when he came on, hard to get in to a game so quickly at the stage of the game. Ours to lose now, people keep saying Mourinho the master of this kind of game, can't argue with any of that, but with this being in the middle of two crunch semi final ties v Atletico then Chelsea should be there for the taking early on at Anfield, we need to hit them like a ton of bricks that first 20 minutes. I can't wait for the Mourinho mind games leading up to it, but Norwich away on Sunday isn't going to be easy, City went there earlier in the season and couldn't get a win. 4 finals, dare to dream.

Behave, That game is a guaranteed points for you guys as long as Suarez plays!
Grandad. Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Behave, That game is a guaranteed points for you guys as long as Suarez plays! No game at this stage is a given, rather play your Southampton's, Newcastle's, Hull's and Man United's than a team in a dog fight. Norwich and Palace away are going to be tough games.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Hull have had a fantastic season. Mid-table safety, some great signings, with an FA Cup final thrown in. Their fans must be in dreamland. For all those who say that we shouldn't make too many signings at City, well Hull have made 9, I believe? Hats off to Steve Bruce. A good bloke and a very good football manager.

Hull, albeit doing quite well, are far from being safe. The relegation battle will be tough and tight this year. Two defeats in a row could see them slip down to 17th with two/three more games to go. Last time I checked, they had signed a dozen new players (if you exclude Conor Henderson). If the Tigers pull of avoiding relegation, then I'll wave my hat in respect, as well.
Grandad. Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Two defeats in a row could see them slip down to 17th with two/three more games to go. The word in there is could, can you really see Swansea, Norwich, West Brom and Villa winning this weekend? I can't. All I'm saying is there is no point in saying "this could happen" at this stage of the season, points on the board mean everything right now.
Haydos Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 And I did say that myself if you look earlier in the thread. Think Suarez deserves another yellow and to be off if he carries on, bambi on ice springs to mind. They boy who cried wolf, like Nevill has just said you haven't seen Suarez 'the diver' in the last few weeks/months but they're desperate now and Suarez 'the diver' is making a reappearance. Is that at all relevant though? Objectively it's poor refereeing. He should be making a decision on the foul, not the reaction of the fouled player. It really, really annoys me how poor refereeing is in this country at the moment and Clattenburg was abysmal today. Suarez should have been sent off before the penalty call but that was a stone waller and he should be looking at the foul. Yes Suarez goes down a bit dramatically but not hugely and the foul looks obvious. It's baffling how he didn't give a yellow for the dive or the penalty later on. The logic behind it is just non-existent.
Grandad. Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Same people who are saying Suarez should of been booked for diving are clearly the same ones who have forgotten the Dzeko/Silva incidents then, yeah I thought that was a penalty too but Silva's wasn't. Suarez SHOULD have been booked for diving, on the Demichelis one anyway, not the Kompany. But then so should Dzeko when Sakho flew in if Clattenburg believes that isn't foul and Dzeko who did go down pretty theatrically appeals, he should be shown a yellow card too. Again the same can be said for David Silva when he jumped into Flanagan in the second half, he jumped into Flanagan and appealed for a penalty, Clattenburg doesn't give a foul and Silva should also have been booked. Yet again though, it's that cheat Luis Suarez who everyone moans about. I don't condone what he did but you have to be consistent in what you say, people can't just remember what one man does and forget the other two. I am still right in saying for being a cheat, Luis Suarez hasn't been booked for diving this season, saying that, not one Liverpool player has been booked for diving.
kingcarr21 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Would love to see Gerrard lift the title. Be great for his career as a liverpool player to finally add a title to his trophy haul. The only one hes missing. Surely liverpools english players need to finish the job and take that confidence to the world cup. If Sterling doesnt go to the world cup i will be amazed. Brilliant again yesterday

Brilliant again yesterday Flanagan as well? I've been impressed with him, and he seems to have adapted to left full back because I always thought he played on the right. Might be a bit to early for him yet, he's still young but that shouldn't matter really.

Hull are a much poorer side when they went up than we are now, they have made good signings and needed to. We will make additions but not the same amount they were required to. Can't knock the job he's done there.

Deciding which one I want to win the league is like choosing which one out of my cock and two balls I would like sliced off with a rusty knife. I'm going Liverpool, something a bit different to what we've had lately and a decent English core to the team and management... the down side being the fans.
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 For a neutral, like myself, I'm hoping for a Chelsea win to keep it as tight as possible at the top. Don't really care who wins it, can only hope that it goes down to the final day. Excuse him, he doesn't realize not everybody shares his irrational hatred of all things Chelsea. Rather enjoyable weekend of football, only downside being Cardiff have given themselves a chance of staying up. Things are looking interesting at both ends of the table now, could be an excellent finish.
ScouseFox Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 remember when half the country (including a lot on here) claimed scott parker was a better player and leader than steven gerrard lol
