Fox92 Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 All this spending, and talk of "we're going to win four trophies", City are going to end up with just the League Cup arn't they?
Matt Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 I take it you bet (jinxed) on Everton, Matt? Yeah, I even took the insurance of taking DNB aswell, so a Palace win was always on the cards. Not only that though, Everton are 'doing an Arsenal'. They're gifting 4th to Arsenal now, should have won this especially with their harder run in compared to the Arseholes As for Sunderland winning, perfect. Man City out of the title race now for me so i'm not bothered either way now whether its Chelsea or Liverpool, I'd still rather Chelsea but not bothered if Liverpool do it, good luck to them!
bovril Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 tbh 1 point or 3 doesn't change much for city, they still need to win their remaining games and hope pool slip up.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 I seriously am beginning to think Rooney's time in England's team is going to be coming down. If we're adopting a 4-2-3-1, where exactly is Rooney playing? Hopefully in Manchester on his PS4
Matt Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Oh Everton The new Arsenal? To go under the same definition of 'doing an Arsenal'. It was theirs for the taking, Arsenal have gained Champions League football tonight. Undeserved congratulations in order I guess.

Watching Arsenal the last few weeks I very much doubt it'll be so straight forward. Or are you doing that football fan thing of saying something is certain in the hope that you jinx it?!
Corky Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Baseball Caps Tone is doing a marvellous job at the Palace. Played 24, Won 11, Drawn 3 and Lost 10.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Tell you what, tony Pulis has worked miracles! Palace 11th now with recent wins over Chelsea and Everton... who would have thought that at Christmas...
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Everton have blown it big time tonight, so disappointed for them, just wanted Arsenal to miss out on the top 4 for a change but as always they will make sure they qualify yet again for the champions league.
Kitchandro Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Well Man City have blown it. Come on Liverpool. Everton Wenger will keep his job more by luck than judgement.

Such a boring club these days. Finish 4th by the skin of their teeth and think it's an achievement. They can't resist fvcking up the Cup final though, surely.....
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Well Man City have blown it. Come on Liverpool. Everton Wenger will keep his job more by luck than judgement. It will seem Wenger will also end his silverware drought, no doubt he will keep his job now. He missed up big time this season but it is quite unbelievable how it could end up being a successful one...

Man City all that talent and money spent and the only trophy they will win is the League cup, massive fail. And Arsenal, how do they do it? Looks like a top 4 finish again. Liverpool vs Chelsea is now the title decider. I hope Liverpool trounce them.
johnny the fox Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Anybody who tells me leyton baines is top notch is having a laugh.. he is VERY average, Bolasie had him on toast..

Most of the country will be wanting Hull to win the FA Cup, me included, Matty Fryatt to score the winner? That would be brilliant.
lcfc1994 Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Sunderland have scored more goals at St james' park than Newcastle in 2014.
purpleronnie Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Anyone else think Chelsea will do liverpool at anfield and go on to win the league?
One Legged Beaver Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Anyone else think Chelsea will do liverpool at anfield and go on to win the league? Yeah, Mourinho just knows how to do it in the big games. The only games I can really see them dropping points are against the lesser teams as they really do struggle to break them down sometimes.
Guest MattP Posted 16 April 2014 Posted 16 April 2014 Looking at those run ins Arsenal look absolutely nailed on for fourth, still short odds but hittable for big punters. Long gone now, Everton could finish six looking at their fixtures. Disaster for them tonight. Liverpool or Chelsea then, think I'm siding with the Scousers to win it, not a fan of either but i hope Rodgers fluent aggressive attacking philosophy is rewarded ahead of that dross Jose sends he players out with.
