foxfanazer Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 So Martin Tyler said yesterday.Seems like he's scored a lot more. I know he's got a few on cup competitions. Starting to look confident again though
Guest Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 Saw the suarez jinky run and goal yesterday. Very Knocky like - except Knocky usually tries more moves. Knocky is going to be the next Suarez.
Kitchandro Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 I always got the impression Spurs were among the better London fanbases for atmosphere. Maybe they're just bored these days without Bale.
Guest Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 A few premiership managers have criticised (quite rightly) about a lack of atmosphere. Its sad but its just the way it is. British football has tried its hardest to remove noise and atmosphere from Football stadia.
purpleronnie Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 British football has tried its hardest to remove noise and atmosphere from Football stadia. And boy have they been successful.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 I always got the impression Spurs were among the better London fanbases for atmosphere. Maybe they're just bored these days without Bale. To be honest Spurs fans remind me of us in some ways, we're not as noisy as we are away from home.
Fox92 Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 To be honest Spurs fans remind me of us in some ways, we're not as noisy as we are away from home. Most, if not every teams, are the same. Look at the Champions of England. Old Trafford is silent usually (they do get a lot of day trippers though), but away from home they are fantastic.
Dan Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 What the hell has happened to Joe Hart? Ridiculous this.
Dan Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 I always got the impression Spurs were among the better London fanbases for atmosphere. Maybe they're just bored these days without Bale. They're shit at home but decent away. Suarez is the best player in the league for me. Him & Ozil the only players that immediately strike me as genuine world class.
Finnegan Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Suarez is a big fish in a little pond. I'd have Agueroooooo over him any day, RVP too. That's not to say Suarez isn't fantastic when he wants to be but to suggest he's head and shoulders above those two is bonkers. What about Mata? Yaya Toure? Vincent Kompany? Some unbelievably good players in this league.
MC Prussian Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Suarez can be erratic and foolish at times, as demonstrated by his disciplinary record. When on fire, he's a different class - the temporary lack of discipline lets him down, though. Agüero is a more solid and consistent player, hardly every makes the headlines, just goes on doing a rather unspectacular job. He's more of a well-oiled machine. And boy does he deliver - THAT goal against QPR at home will live on forever. He's still only 25 years old, mind you.
Fox92 Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Suarez is quality, and when he doesn't cheat or whatever, he is one of those players you can't help but admire watching. I do think it's tight between Suarez, Aguero and Van Persie. All three a top World Class players.
Uncle Albert Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Suarez is world class and I would say him, Ozil and Aguero are three best players in the League. Stop coming out with your shit now Finnegan like 'big fish in a small pond', Suarez would get into any side in the world and flourish in any side, imagine if he was at Barcelona, he would be on the same level as Messi, he's that good. His foolish antics in the past have given people their opinions on him no matter what he goes on to achieve in football. How Liverpool have been playing this season so far there is a few 'big fishes'.. Suarez, Gerrard and Sturridge.

How Liverpool have been playing this season so far there is a few 'big fishes'.. Suarez, Gerrard and Sturridge. And for that he only has himself to blame. He wouldn't be on the same level as Messi, either. He'd have to wait for Messi to leave or get injured to have as much of an impace as Messi has in that Barcelona side.

The papers will pick up on any tiny matter like this and blow it way out of proportion. Much ado about nothing.
foxfanazer Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Suarez is an amazing talent. Probably the best (at least top 3) player in the league. Him and Sturridge are a scary proposition. Not as good as Messi but he's not a million miles off

Uncle Albert Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Suarez as good as Messi! lol lol Take your anti Liverpool head off you idiot, your opinion became invalid after your ridiculous Bale and Ramsay claims. Suarez could be as good as Messi, I have no doubt in that, Suarez in that Barcelona team would thrive just as much as Messi. Suarez has one downside, his antics in the past have probably prevented him from ever moving to Barcelona, can't see them ever coming in for him, if it wasn't for his past I think he would be there already. You have to be a real idiot to not see how good a player Luis Suarez is, without a doubt one of the most gifted footballers in the world. Shame people can't see beyond his previous incidents in whether a player is world class or not.
Guest MattP Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Brilliant player but no one comes close to Messi when it comes to natural football ability. If he actually is as good as him him Liverpool should do the right thing and let him go to Real Madrid and show it, it would be a crime to keep a man with that talent out of the Champions League and El Clasico.
Dan Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 He is not as good as Messi. It is not 'anti-Liverpool' to try and claim that he's not at Messi's level. Messi's on another level from any other player on the planet for me. He's had his worst year for a while and he's still probably gonna win the Ballon D'Or.
