Tom17LCFC Posted 4 September 2013 Posted 4 September 2013 That end looked insane! Love to see Parkes bag a winner.
ScouseFox Posted 4 September 2013 Posted 4 September 2013 All 3 goal celebrations have been sick. Can tell it's a massive game that doesn't get played very often!
Asha Posted 4 September 2013 Posted 4 September 2013 I know it's a big rivalry, but a pitch invasion in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy!?
Fox92 Posted 4 September 2013 Posted 4 September 2013 Enjoyed that game. I've got a bit of a soft spot for Rovers though, and wanted them to win. City fans were annoying me, especially when they didn't give the ball back. Pitch invasion for the first round of the jpt? Meh. The Gas are classier.
Corky Posted 4 September 2013 Posted 4 September 2013 Knew Col was onto something. JET does it in these big games.
Fox92 Posted 5 September 2013 Posted 5 September 2013 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2411923/Bristol-City-2-1-Bristol-Rovers-Police-clear-pitch-rioters-clash.html 12 arrested. Knew something would happen, as expected, massive rivalry.
Leicesterpool Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 7 wins from 7 games for Leyton Orient. Can't stand orient
Harry - LCFC Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Think they'll fall away a bit later on, excellent start no doubt but other teams seems to have more longevity about them.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Like Orient hope they come up. Loved the away game in 08.
Walker Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 What an achievement for Orient. Such a good day out in the League One season.
StanSP Posted 24 September 2013 Posted 24 September 2013 Wonder if they'll go the way of Tranmere last season. Didn't Tranmere have a 10-12 point lead by October/November time? Look where they ended up in May! I don't mind Orient. Hope they continue to do well but I'd like Brentford to come up with them.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 My mate had a free ticket going so I went to watch Pompey today. Thought they looked good and they won 3-0 against Rochdale who were 5th and unbeaten in 5 games. Jed Wallace who plays for them on the wing is only 19 and had a quality game. A real threat throughout and scored a well taken goal to give them the lead. If he plays like that in many more games with any sort of consistency, other clubs will certainly be starting to take notice! Their attendance was around 15k, which is very good for that level. I found the ground very likeable, it's a good old fashioned shithole at times was genuinely loud which I find very rare these days for any home side, fair play to them. Enjoyed going to the game as a neutral today.
Lamby Posted 10 October 2013 Posted 10 October 2013 Going to Orient v MKDonalds on Saturday, £23 for a ticket
Simo86 Posted 11 October 2013 Posted 11 October 2013 Sheff Utd have sacked David Weir. Not surprising really.
Corky Posted 11 October 2013 Posted 11 October 2013 Hopefully they'll get new manager/ caretaker bounce ahead of their trip to Covhampton Sky Blues.
Matt Posted 13 October 2013 Posted 13 October 2013 Watching the build up to Covhampton v Sheff Utd. Covhampton's ground looks worse than I thought it would, literally empty apart from 1 section behind the goal which I guess are Sheff Utd fans. Quite funny though. Uwe Rosler just said the atmosphere's at Covhampton are like friendly matches. C'mon United!
Tom17LCFC Posted 13 October 2013 Posted 13 October 2013 It's almost surreal seeing it, are there any Cov fans at all? Hope they win, hate Sheff Utd.
Corky Posted 13 October 2013 Posted 13 October 2013 Don't want to see Coventry win but I'd rather Sheffield United had Weir in charge than the odious and reprehensible Chris Morgan.
Matt Posted 13 October 2013 Posted 13 October 2013 It's almost surreal seeing it, are there any Cov fans at all? Hope they win, hate Sheff Utd. Couple of hundered I reckon, that's being generous, unless there is a few in the stand camera side which we can't see. I think the attendance will be over 1k but only thanks to the Sheff Utd fans. Bollocks. C'mon United FFS!
Unabomber Posted 13 October 2013 Posted 13 October 2013 Seems surreal watching this game, what an absolute embarrassment.
