Then flopped. Just like a Mr Jamie Vardy. My point is maybe its better for your football career to actually stay where you are known for scoring, where the fans love you ect. Instead of moving to a club in a higher division where you become a nobody. Think he moved to Wolves before Coventry but don't quote me on that. Totally agree with what you said about Lambert and Holt staying at the club that they've been promoted with. That's why I can see Glen Murray doing reasonably well for palace next season.

Nobody expects to go to a new club at a higher level and flop but lots do, also money is also a big lure, sure you can always drop back down again if you wanted My point is maybe its better for your football career to actually stay where you are known for scoring, where the fans love you ect. Some clubs will snap up players from those leagues, already seen it with Smith signing for Leeds, Maghoma for Sheff Wed, couple of others and now more than likely Murphy to Blackburn.
