Number 6 Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 Need to keep Lloyd.
ealingfox Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 This would be a really weird one if true. It would be fantastic business to get a bit of money for him and we could easily replace him with someone better, but nobody would want him to go, he's our Lloyd. How many players have we had over the last 13 years who we can say truly have the Club at heart? Ohhhhhhh Lord, Lloyd Dyer. That said it sounds like no more than lazy journalism. A 'Relegated sides in wanting proven Championship stalwart' shocker.
LCFC FOX Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 He would be the hardest player to replace IMO.
Danizen Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 It would take a lot for him to leave, I reckon. His career was pretty much on hold while Sven was here. He must have quite a close bond with Pearson.
Walshy5 Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 Lloyd is now getting to that age where you start losing abit of pace and once you take that away from him he has nothing else to offer unfortunately so maybe it is the right time.
Corky Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 Can't see QPR doing too much business at the moment, with the manager looking for an excuse to bugger off and leave.

foxoffderby Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 I like Dyer, however if a decent offer came in I would sell. We could do better plenty of young fresh talent about.
Dan LCFC Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 All depends on the money offered for me.
Father Ted Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 No chance, he'll see his career out here I reckon.
Deucalion Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 Heart says Dyer gets a contract here until he needs a zimmer frame. Head says that Dyer is now 30 and if we were offered cash for him, it would probably be good business to take it and reinvest in youth. Doesn't feel good to say that though. Fox92 Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 Not fussed if he goes, not a massive fan of his inconsistency or inability to stay out wide, but I don't believe why two relegated teams would want Dyer, an average Championship player at best, when they can get better quality (probably have better quality as well). DennisNedry Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 Dyer's main attribute (and his only stand out one) is his pace. At 30 he will surely begin to lose that soon. If we recieve a decent offer, I'd have no problem with moving him on.

Loggy88 Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 Can't see him leaving, Pearson loves him one of his favourites. And don't think Dyer would be looking to move unless a prem team wanted him which won't happen either.
GorlestonFox Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 He loves Leicester. Aren't his kids LCFC fans too? Cant see him leaving.

Guest ttfn Posted 8 June 2013 Share Posted 8 June 2013 I don't see Dyer being 30 as a bad thing: 1) He shows no sign of getting slower, if anything he's got quicker over the past couple of years. 2) As many posters have been at pains to point out as if it's some sort of badge if honour, we have a very young squad. We need all the experience we can get. Well after u all were slating him no finish product all pace come on lets be honest What a ludicrous generalisation. Nobody's changed their tune here.
