Well, I guess that equalises out the stumping from yesterday.

Poor from Broad, should've walked.

Dangerous school of thought really. You can't be recalled if the umpire makes a howler and you're given out (barring reviews obviously), so should you walk if the umpire makes a howler and you stay in?

We'll call that evens if Broad makes 135.

I know, but I've always played the way that if you know you've hit it, the catch was clean then you should at least offer to walk.

I can see why he didn't though, and I'm amazed Dar missed it.

Can an umpire review a decision for his own satisfaction even if no teams appeal/have appeals left?

Not from those kinds of incidents, I don't think. Only run outs/stumpings, and to see if a catch has carried.

Saw The Duckworth Lewis Method mentioned. What a band. I recommend listening to:

Jiggery Pokery (about that Shane Warne ball)

I think he meant that he'll get a load of shit for doing it...which he will.

Agar bowls.

Broad got a CLEAR nick on it.

Went through to slip (Clarke?) who caught it.

Not given out.

Australia no reviews left so can't appeal.

Umpires commit another mare. Embarrassing.

Thanks, if it isn't seen then I don't see why it is up to Broad to walk, it is the Umpire's fault been rubbish by the sounds of things.

The darling of Ashes cricket Agar knew his foot wasn't grounded or behind the line yesterday, I didn't see him walk. I could name very few players who would walk every time they knew they were out.
