OK going forward

3 midfielders are dropping off and allowing them time to make worldclass passes to worldclass forwards - And it's this which is costing us. Means they're not on the front foot when the ball goes to our forwards either leaving them isolated against 4 players

Couple of worrying performances, in particular SSL, Konch & Whitbread - although not sure how much to read into it baring in mind the opposition's quality.

Get Knockaert on.

Some poor bastards have paid money to watch us chase shadows for 45 minutes so far. The least they deserve is a bit of entertainment.

It's a friendly against a Ligue 1 side with loads of class players, a team that is trying to emulate PSG. lol

We've had some pretty good spells and there's promising signs.

Defensively, we look already rather rattled. But I suppose it's because our centre-backs are not yet used to play a 3-5-2.

Ok, I'll go easy.

However, both Knoch and De Laet have found themselves in plenty of space only to totally fluff their crosses. They have the pace/stamina to play the positions but the final ball is shocking.

Keep the formation but get Danns on for King, Waggy or Vardy and Zoom for Konch please.

King for a rest? I think he has been ok when he's had the ball. Konchesky has been absolutely dire. Vardy for Waggy agreed.

Konch is being konch giving the ball away, the other two ate learning their positions and up against some of the best in the world, won't be too harsh... Vardy, bleughh.

People slagging Whitbread off? Really? I think he's had a good game so far.

As for Konchesky... Can we PLEASE sell him or loan him out or somebody even kidnap him? If he plays another season at LB/LWB then there is no way we will be close to promotion  :frusty:

Just want to see Danns with James. Should have added I want knocky on for Drinky.

It's painfully obvious that SSL and Whitbread are nowhere near good enough.

It's painfully obvious that you have failed to notice Morgan was at fault for both goals.

Caught napping for both.

Konchesky and Vardy just proving there are now more suitable players in their positions.

James... I love this man.

Whitbread & SSL are playing okay in my opinion, Morgan didn't follow his man for the second... 1st I need to watch a replay.

Done ok so far. People need to stop being so harsh. SSL and ZW have looked nervous against a 50m striker...shock horror they must be crap. I actually think ZW passed the ball fairly well that half.

This would provide so much more balance. A greater intensity and closing down and midfield as well as an attacking intent!

It wasn't even Morgan's man for the first so how do you work that out?

Whitbread's passing has been alright so far. Vardy's first touch is embarrassing. Konch doesn't have the legs to play LWB.

Formation has worked ok so far, De Laet will be a threat. We need a new CB.

The Falcao bumming is hilarious lol

The bloke has done nothing but score a tap in against Leicester in a friendly and from that they think he's 'worth every penny' of £50 million lol. When tackled by Wes Morgan Hinchcliffe said something along the lines of 'that's his greatness'. When having a shot blocked he was praised for the world class skill of getting the ball away from his feet.

Vardy's first touch is so non-league. He actually looked decent at times once he got it under control, but he can control it further than I can kick it. Wood also looks a bit tentative with his touch but has done ok.

Surprisingly I've not noticed King much. James has looked sharp and still looks our best player, carrying on from the back end of last season. De Laet is typical De Laet, very dangerous going forward until he's asked to cross, not much use in defence.

I think we're a bit unfortunate to be 2-0 down tbh.

King's man I think and Drinkwater missed a header at the front. Two chances to clear that. Poor defending.
