Leicester_Numan Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 He was injured in training before we played any preseason games. Apparently he's about ready, but didn't want to be risked... Would have thought he'd be short of fitness to get straight back in the team when the league starts too, having not played any games. Erm, he played the full 90 against York
TheUltimateWinner Posted 27 July 2013 Author Posted 27 July 2013 Schlupp, Danns, Marshall, Waghorn, Knockaert, Moore on Edit: I think with the right players this 3-5-2 will be such a good way of playing for us.
Master Fox Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 I'm not sure we could handle our team being good. Leicester always being shit is comforting.
AKCJ Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 It's painfully obvious that you have failed to notice Morgan was at fault for both goals. Caught napping for both. The first wasn't his man, it was SSL's. The second, SSL should have communicated with Morgan rather than just let Falcao run in behind him.
Kitchandro Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 The goals we conceded were very basic which is worrying.
reynard Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Not sure what people were expecting. A completely meaningless friendly against top quality opponents who basically don't have to break sweat to beat what is, let's face it, a pretty mediocre team of average championship level players. I really don't like the idea of 3-5-2 with the players we have. Our back three are just too slow and our so called wing backs don't have enough quality from out wide. We really needed to add 3 or 4 quality players this summer but our finances men that isn't going to happen. Most of all though we need to keep the ball better than we have done so far.
Father Ted Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 The first wasn't his man, it was SSL's. The second, SSL should have communicated with Morgan rather than just let Falcao run in behind him. The second goal should have been stopped way before that. Konchesky caught in no mans land, where have we seen that before?!?! De Laet should have tucked in and took care of Falcao as SSL had the man in the middle.
Legend_in_blue Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 The first wasn't his man, it was SSL's. The second, SSL should have communicated with Morgan rather than just let Falcao run in behind him. The second was shocking positional play from Konchesky down the left side. He didnt even bother tracking back.
AKCJ Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 The goals we conceded were very basic which is worrying. The second one was made to look basic, really. Falcao's movement won't be replicated by anyone at our level.
OLD norfox Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 I don't know what's worse, Vardy's first touch or his hair cut His haircut
hernandez Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Delaet looked good in te first 15-20 mins gone quiet now though, Vardy has been poor. James class as usual. need to go down the wings more, mainly the right side or get someone else quick on the left wing, dyer or schlupp . atmosphere is pretty terrible though wouldn't be many there Id imagine.
cc_star Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 What a shame we wasted playing in that formation with HOOFsky on the left, wouldn't know how to run towards the box if you gave him a map
BoneDog Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Some brainless comments on this thread. Just to clarify, my Wigan and QPR comment was defo a joke.
Jimothy Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 His haircutHis haircut is shit, but its not that bad!Not long until the away kit!
Vlad the Fox Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Sky TV confirms that the bulges under the shirts are high-tec hard drives. That's why we haven't signed anyone. We're a team of cyborgs, no problem with injuries maybe a bit of re-wiring here and there but nothing that can't be put right, just need to make sure the win every game programme is set.
lee(lcfc) Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 We look good going forward and by what I'm reading reading by some people, we should be all over Monaco who's spent over 100 mil.
sdb Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 both goals were really cheap to give away. King is poor at corners - always has been. 2nd was largely due to the new system - -no one knew who to pick up. Don't think it was just Falcao - most strikers would've been there. Look OK in possession.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Are we not wearing this new kit then? Doesn't look like it
TheUltimateWinner Posted 27 July 2013 Author Posted 27 July 2013 Oh will these commentators fvck off with the Knockaert crying rhetoric. Seriously bore off.
MC Prussian Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Some brainless comments on this thread. There's always the odd few that take a friendly a little bit too seriously.
