Since when does that meaning anything? by all means Baines is a reserve England LB, means nothing, the Irish manager is hardly known for picking the right team, a league 1 midfielder gets a game ahead of Darron Gibson.

Don't even bother mate, the guy is the biggest troll on here.

Well he's a big c*nt anyway.  And from a distance he looks like an Adonis and then gets slowly less attractive as you get closer which I've always liked in a CB.

On a more serious note, I think sometimes people look the part and something about his face makes me think he'll be good.  And I love a good 6'4"er!!  Always have.

COME ON YOU FOXES!

He "needs a break"! The poor guy's had enough injury problems hasn't he?

No....he had one freak injury where he nearly died but thats it, been playing ever since.

Who is Miquel? Not heard anything about anyone else.

Arsenal centre half

Mirror reported him and Yennaris were coming on loan and Miquel was pictured at the Wycombe game on Tuesday.

If Trap knows anything, it's defending. ;)

If he comes, though, any chance of making it permanent?

Possibly but I think you would be looking at parting with a couple of million given his age etc but all depends, Coleman went to Blackpool not rated and come back straight into the first team.

Is this a loan deal, do you think they'll agree to it, does the player have any say in where he wants to go, what position does he play.

So many unknowns it's doing my head in!

  lol  Classic.

Strengthen the Irish Connection at the back. St. Ledger and Logan will rejoice... and the loan should do both parties a lot of good.

I do hope he comes - highly rated by Everton and thus a great asset to have at the club.

Maybe not.....He's an Ulster Boy

Told y'all we'd be loaning a defender. Hope he agrees to come here.

Huge shout when we have only four senior pro's who play centre back, one of whom is 20, and we're playing 3-5-2. Do you have next week's lottery numbers?

He's not left footed which annoys me as that is what we are crying out for, a solid left footed centre back who can play more than 10 games in a season unlike Zak Crustybread.

We should be considering moving Sean St Ledger to a striking position anyway he is clinically lethal in front of goal at the moment, cheers for the info Toffee was wondering if something might come of this after you suggested it couple weeks back
