Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 I'd actually disagree with this and say , "never underestimate anyone , ever!" Trust me, my way is safer. Overestimating people can end in disaster.
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Everyone is cunt and if people say they aren't, then you've found a lying cunt: better known as an authority figure.
Rincewind Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Be nice to the people you meet on the way up because you may need their help on the way back down.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 I disagree, I consider everyone I meet to be intelligent until they prove me otherwise. That is not to say don't give clear and concise instructions and don't simplify things for clarity, but if I meet someone for the first time I'm not going to treat them like an idiot just in case they are one. So you've never started talking to someone and thought, "you haven't understood a single word I've said" within a minute or two? I mean, that's pretty much standard FoxesTalk response. When I say idiot, I'm not saying talk to them in baby speak, just don't go in talking about your favourite mandelbrot fractel set or the existensialist leanings of Cartesianism. I'm exaggerating for emphasis, but there is the undeniable fact that the pessimist is never disappointed. Though I tend to think that I'm a realist. (I'm a stupidly blind optomist re: everything LCFC)
Vacamion Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Even the coolest, most charismatic dude you know is wracked with insecurity on some level. They just appear to hide it better. Know this, and you should have the confidence to be yourself.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Rentboy I'd imagine. Oi you promised not to tell anyone
Ozwin Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.
Tielemans63 Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 You only get one life so ****ing enjoy it. Secondly, treat people well as you don't know when you might need them. Thirdly, be honest. When I was younger I was always telling people what I thought they wanted to hear. Far better off saying exactly what you think which I do now!

Guest MattP Posted 30 August 2013 Posted 30 August 2013 Do not judge people based on stereotypes, preconceptions and prejudices. http://www.upworthy.com/muslim-america-rocks?c=bl3 You know religion has seriously fcuked up across the World when you have to show everyone you are opposed to domestic violence.
Rincewind Posted 30 August 2013 Posted 30 August 2013 You know religion has seriously fcuked up across the World when you have to show everyone you are opposed to domestic violence. Yes but will it stop posters on here saying 'Muslims do not respect women and beat them up'? Surely they were just defending themselves against the stereotypical viewpoints. I do not think they should have to do that. Saying we are opposed to domestic violence should be on everyones mind. I'm not a lover of religion but I look at the person first. what faith they follow does not matter and that is how I see those women, another group hilighting that it goes on.

Surely they were just defending themselves against the stereotypical viewpoints. No they were saying they are against it. Some Muslim states still stone and execute women for adultery, jail them for wearing the wrong clothes. It's not a stereotype, it happens. Whilst we shouldn't stereotype all Muslims as thinking that's fine we shouldn't turn a blind eye and sweep it under the carpet either.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 30 August 2013 Posted 30 August 2013 Budget toilet paper is a false economy that requires additional money spent on additional soap

I am not saying it doesn't happen but it is good to see things that shows another viewpoint. If all you see is reports of extremist religious groups acting in extreme ways that is the impression some will have and will not believe the good parts.

The People's Hero Posted 30 August 2013 Posted 30 August 2013 Everything you want is the other side of fear. You will be sat there feeling trapped, caged, limited by rules. Rules you've set yourself of allowed to be set. Rules you think society enforces. It doesn't. Grow a pair. Break the rules. Live.
Tielemans63 Posted 30 August 2013 Posted 30 August 2013 Actually thinking about a post I put in the embarassing moments thread - I'd recommend to everyone that you always look where you're aiming when wanking.
Guest Posted 30 August 2013 Posted 30 August 2013 From today I've learnt that there's still plenty of ***** about in Manchester who'll wreck your bike even if it's parked outside your work.

Captain... Posted 31 August 2013 Posted 31 August 2013 Not to fart on a first date Disagree. Always fart on the first date, let her know what she is in for and save yourself months of sneaking them out and blaming it on the dog. I dutch ovened a girl on one of our first nights together. She's still with me and I can rip away as I please.
