Convincing win tonight but let's be honest they are a very poor side who on that performance will struggle in this division.

Vardy was MOTM, just hope he doesn't get drug tested because I'm sure he must be on some sort of amphetamines!

Well I'm mad that you useless boring fookers didn't make a thread sooner.

First half was great, we were in such control, passing the ball incredibly well. Second half after the penalty, we were on the back foot a bit, but the defence stayed solid and we grinded it out.

Vardy was fantastic again, worked so so hard and was unlucky not to score. Knockaert impressed me tonight as well, defensively he worked very hard and looked to be improving in that side of his game, he was looking for the ball and linked well with team mates. Moore and Morgan solid again tonight as well.

Downside probably Nugent, still don't think he is playing that great despite bagging all these penalties, & Wood was bloody useless when he came on, what a bag of overrated shit.

All in all, decent display, first half absolute quality

Theirs and our first penalty I couldn't really see being in the Kop, but we should have had a peno for what was a clear foul on Vardy. None-the-less Deserved victory and it could have been by more.

Great win first and foremost. Vardy was excellent today and he is really starting to impress. Shame he didn't finish his 1 on 1 as that would have given him a boost. We should have scored 1 or 2 before they scored. Defending was good most of the game however still a few sloppy mistakes. As I said at the start of the post though, a great win and let's build on this excellent start

Good win, okay performance. Brilliant in patches but overall we let a very, very, very poor Blackburn side back into a game they should have been dead and buried in.

De Laet terrifies me, his anticipation is awful and passing ability shocking! He was definitely the weak link tonight!

It was a great win but it also highlighted our need for either a new wide man or a striker! We need more goals!!!!

"Pearson Out!" - You know who you are. Please justify yourselves. I'm sure you won't bottle it?

I stick by everything I stated last season, and at the time I believe the criticism was justified, but that was last season.

What I can't stand is after 7 games of good results, that people like yourself think people like me are gonna take back what we said.

As I said last seasons gone, all at the club seemed to have learnt alot over the summer, so for **** sake let everybody enjoy being top of the league, as we have had enough Pearson out debates.

A very, very good start but far to early for I told you so's, but if things go aswell all season, I will gladly say I was over critical of Pearson, but lets get through the season first as things could change.

The manager is getting it right at present so for **** sake lets ALL enjoy the moment.

Very funny game. I thought the one thing we had going for us throughout the 90 was fantastic levels of energy and the collective effort, it's the type of scrapping that'll win fans over regardless of results.

We played some decent stuff but thought we were lucky to be 2 up at half time, didn't really do a lot going forward for me although appreciate I'm in the minority here, it was effective from us.

The second half should've seen the game wrapped up within minutes but we were just wasteful. Vardy's miss was a sickener for him but he gets my vote for MOTM tonight, phenomenal effort from him.

Made hard work of it but you can't knock how effective we've been this season. We're taking our chances, looking dangerous from set pieces, and are getting an almost unheard of for Leicester number of penalties.

Onto Blackpool.

Pretty much agree with this.

2-0 flattered us at half-time, and we were gifted the second with an absolutely scandalous penalty decision.

After the break we could have scored 5 times in the first 10 minutes, we absolutely murdered them.

In the end 2-1 flattered them. Aside from the penalty they never even looked like forcing a serious save, let alone scoring.

The decision not to give a penalty for the push on Vardy was as bad as the penalty decision we were awarded. Fair enough, the ref was too fat to keep up with play, but I, like the linesman, was virtually in line with it. It was a blatant push and as obvious a foul as you will ever see.

It did, thought it was two pretty poor sides in the first half which we probably edged.

The best thing is really for the last 5 minutes they hardly threatened us once. That's the way you do it, rather than banking on goal-line clearances.

A very encouraging performance, the likes of which we probably haven't seen since January.

As I said in another thread, the atmosphere started off appallingly but actually became pretty decent at times, purely because of the effort and quality shown by the players. A brilliant example of how the crowd can respond to the players' attitudes and vice versa.

We played some absolutely lovely stuff tonight and without exaggerating it could have been 6-0 after and hour. Vardy was unbelievable again, yet ironically had probably the best chance that we didn't score which could have been costly. Nugent was better but still looks very short on confidence when shooting from open play. The goalkeeper made some good saves and there was the odd last ditch block or clearance. It was just one of those games where part of you thought it was only a matter of time until we scored again, and another part of you knew that we wouldn't.

I've no idea how Blackburn got back into it, and I was a bit worried after that, and frustrated too. It's a shame we didn't hammer them because Blackburn were complete shit and we deserved to win far more convincingly. But we just haven't quite got that ruthless streak yet.

What we did tonight for about 70 minutes over the course of the game was very simple. It was all about using the space and finding players with precision. We have some good technical players and some quick ones, and there's no reason we can't play more football like that, like the kind of football we saw in the first half of last season.

I don't think 2-0 flattered us at all. We had them pinned in their half most of the time and they in return offered absolutely nothing.

Some of our passing was very satisfying to watch and we controlled the match.

I didn't think it was a penalty in the slightest but the scoreline was completely deserved IMO.

Wow what a game! It was like the Wigan game didn't finish. Once again another hard thought 90 minute performance with i must say alot of effort from the team. The whole team just simply wanted to score, you've got to credit there keeper he pulled of some crackers. Vardy was once again superb, was leicester pen a pen? no the ball was clearly going out of play and De Laet had over ran it and clearly was looking for that pen! Vardy's appeal was yes! he simply had no reason to dive as once he had beaten there defender he would have been one on one with the keeper. It's a shame he didn't score tonight!

Speaking of that we've got to point out the amount of missing chances, Vardy missed a couple on target, while Nuge had quite a few off and Wood's goal was disallowed, like Wigan the amount of chances we had we should have really punished both sides and you've got to say the last two games we've flattered the opposition.

I dunno maybe it's time we give Schlupp a run up front, falling that we'd probably need to look to bring a striker in, these missed chances me come back to haunt us.

Anyway cracking performance and atmosphere, Blackpool next COME ON YOU FOXES!

P.S. BORO ARE ALSO TOP OF THE LEAGUE, THEY BEAT HEREFORD TONIGHT BY THE SAME SCORE

Agreed I was at the game and Blackburn didn't create anything in the first half, we were all over them for the first 20 to 25 minutes sure things got a little scrappy until half time but 2-0 was deserved at half time.

Vardy was fantastic tonight. We have added a real physical edge to our game this season. We closed down quick and hassled their players when on the ball not allowing them to settle, this was done high up the pitch superbly by Vardy and Nugent which really unsettled their defence and midfield.

We've got to be more clinical! Dominating most of the game and finding ourselves clinging on like that near the end is not good enough and we wont get away with that all season. We definitely need another striker. Vardys all round play is great but hes shocking at one on ones. Nugent cant hit a barn door atm and wood plays like hes got lead in his boots!

God forbid the unthinkable happens and they start to find some goalscoring form. Nah sod that get some strikers in. 4 goals for Nuge this season is it? Absouloutly horrific form!!

Haha Vardy chasing the back four of ****** and the clueless goalkeeper all night was hilarious. None of them had a ****ing clue where he was. Brilliant lol
