Double barrelled surnames

Recommended Posts

Why do some players have both their surnames on their shirts and others don't? We have Taylor-fletcher, another one (although not ours) is wright-Phillips.

But Lloyd only has dyer on his, but listening to most commentaries when he's through on goal I'm sure it's 'dyer-wide'

Which others do you hear quite often?

lol

Savage-Challenge ?

Recall when Cloughie, probably as a bar bet, named (David) CURRIE and (Brian) RICE as the subs for a televised game. Just a shame that Peter Popodom and Niky Naan were injured at the time!

And when West Ham's shirt numbers 2-4 read like genital Warts :- (Kenny) BROWN, (Julian) DICKS, (Steve) POTTS!

Swapthe Kop

Does anyone remember him? Really good African lad we had on trial

Yeah, he worked really well with Withthe Familystand, a South African dude, but the club decided to get rid as they had a conflict with each other
