AKCJ Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Jesus, Jovetic. That's up there with the worst I've seen.
ashfosse Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 fa has to start taking action on diving and play-acting. jovetic what a joke
Haydos Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Offside to me. Meh, barely if at all, you're talking literal inches. Can hardly say they were robbed.
ScouseFox Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 "Barely offside" or "oooh only just offside" is the same as being 25 yards offside. It's still offside.
Matt Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Meh, barely if at all, you're talking literal inches. Can hardly say they were robbed. Doesn't matter does it? Offside is offside. Swings and roundabouts I agree but if you're trying to justify offside i'll remind you off this if/when we get an offside goal scored against us
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Glad Man City are winning Best team in the prem to watch

Swings and roundabouts I agree but if you're trying to justify offside i'll remind you off this if/when we get an offside goal scored against us I'm just making the point that it was as close as you're going to get and the linesman is hard pressed to make that call. I just don't get the point in saying 'it's offside though'. Should we replay the game maybe? If that goal was scored against us I'd have no problem whatsoever with it, I'd feel slightly unlucky that a 50/50 call didn't go in our favour, that would be about it.
StanSP Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Is there any more news on this? Looked on the Blades website and there's nothing about a postponement. Would piss Lamby right off if the Hillsborough game got called off and just down the road a Sheff Utd game stays on ::. PLEASE STAY ON.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Chelsea well and truly had their backsides handed to them in that game, Chelsea were atrocious
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Superb Man City win Hope they go on to win the FA Cup personally
Finnegan Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 "Barely offside" or "oooh only just offside" is the same as being 25 yards offside. It's still offside. Actually, it isn't. The benefit of the doubt belongs with the attacking team. If there's reasonable doubt, play should continue. Anyway, his arm was offside and you can't play the ball with your arm. It isn't clear cut using slow motion and freeze frames, it definitely can't be clear cut in real time. Perfectly legit goal and a really good one.

Perfectly legit goal and a really good one. If he's offside he's offside. The distance doesn't matter. In reality yeah it does because 0.01m offside is impossible to call so it won't be called offside (like just then) but in terms of the rule he is still offside.

I don't think anybody is arguing that (although I don't think you can claim it with 100% certainty, you'd need to look at a lot higher frame rate replay if you wanted to know for sure). Like Finners says, benefit of the doubt was rightly given to the attacker. He's onside, the goal stood.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Tell you what though, the commentator really doesn't like Man City does he!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B10QQP6D7PY
ScouseFox Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Ridiculous kit choice here. Swansea change from all white to blue to play Everton. Who wear blue.
Matt Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Ridiculous kit choice here. Swansea change from all white to blue to play Everton. Who wear blue. Purple/Yellow isn't it? Granted purple is closer to blue than white.
ScouseFox Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Purple/Yellow isn't it? Granted purple is closer to blue than white. Dunno, but Swansea's purpley/blue and yellow looks very similar to the royal blue and white of Everton when they go in and out of the shaded parts of the pitch. My TV is shit though.
Jimothy Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 This would look great if Everton wore their away kit, which is pretty much the same as the Swansea one but with the colours switched.
ScouseFox Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 I make it 3 "great feet for a big man" so far for Traore. Just 12 minutes in. I'll go for a total of 12 by the time the programme goes off air, with at least 4 coming from Chiles.
AKCJ Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Can't say I feel for Bartley. What an absolute tit.
StanSP Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Can't say I feel for Bartley. What an absolute tit. Yep. His own fault for carrying on.
Stadt Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 When Carlisle said Bartley's tackle was delicious
