Greatness_Since_1884 Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 I'm almost certain there'll be 3 in midfield, either in a 3-5-2 or 4-3-3. I think he'll freshen it up quite a bit given that the same teams been playing for about 7 weeks. Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Miquel - Bakayogo Drinkwater - Hammond - James Taylor-Fletcher - Wood - Schlupp Subs: Logan, Wasyl, Konchesky, Knockaert, Dyer, Vardy, Hopper EDIT: Sorry Jimmy didn't see your team haha. Great minds think alike
kingfox Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Danish Pastry Anyone? Moore Please - OK Morgan - What about you Miquel? - SchNO Stop Knocking one out - Hammond - And Drink Some Water - Usain I've got Wood as well though - Vardy pass me the lube mate it's in my bag
davieG Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Wasi should definitely play he needs the games for match fitness and he's one of the few players we have who are well capable of playing against the likes of Fulham
Isle of Wight Fox 86 Posted 27 October 2013 Author Posted 27 October 2013 I like your avatar. Thank you. I made it myself
????? Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Kasper Moore - Wasl - Wes - Schlupp Knocky - Hammond - James - GTF Wood - Vardy 2-1 Win (of course!) Wasl Bent Wood (pen)
Yuki! Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Kasphim Less - Lessgan - Migboy- Schldown Gammond- Eatfire- Queen- Good Paper - Oldgent
LeicesterLuke91 Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 First game of season for me. If Jol is still in charge I fancy us for a 2-1 win. Team wise I think nugent will be rested as he played ill against Bournemouth according to reports. That brings wood back into contention and I'm backing him to get back on the goal scoring sheet. Here's my lineup: GK: Kasper RB: Moore CB: Morgan CB: Wasileswki LB: Konchesky CM: Hammond CM: Drinkwater RW: Knockaert LW: Dyer CF: Wood CF: Schlupp SUBS: Logan, Miquel, James, St Ledger, Taylor-Fletcher, Vardy & King.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 I fancy a draw, but they are beatable, being pretty average Premiership material.
Unabomber Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Kasper Moore Was Morgan Konchesky James Hammond Vardy Knockaert Dyer Wood
Stadt Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Kasper Moore Ledge Wasyl Konchesky Hammond James Panaiyatou(sp?) Knocky Dyer Wood
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Fulham will win easily . . . . Or will they?
Guest Bilo Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 They looked very poor yesterday, this could be a winnable tie. Their three wins this season have come against Stoke, Palace and Sunderland so they haven't beaten any great sides this season. However, it is worth noting that the Palace and Sunderland wins came away from home and they ended last season's away trips pretty well too, so they're not as poor on the road as they used to be. I predict a tight tie, possibly going into extra time.
LCFC FOX Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 We need to take this competition seriously, we are one of the quarters and we have a home tie against a team we can beat if we play our best. Maybe 2 or 3 changes but nothing major. Let's win this cup
Leicesterpool Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 By the way the quarter finals are the week commencing 16th December, just mention that.
Guest Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 I hate some of the talk about not playing a strong team and this game not being important. We did that last season and after elimination from the Cup our season nosedived. I just hope we have the mentality that this game IS as important as a league game and we play a strong team to win the game. I want to win the league cup. I want to beat prem teams. Let others treat it as unimportant but we should play to win. I can understand resting Nuge and putting Wood in, I can understand resting Wes and playing Moore and Was in central defence, I can understand resting King and playing James and possibly Dyer with schlupp. We have a strong squad, but I want us to put out a strong team and go all out for the win.
K1FOX Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 Anyone know if tickets in L are still available. STH of course .
jock2612 Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 I'd send some of the current fringe players out for this ie: Hammond, James, GTF, Wood along with a mixture of the regulars. I don't much care if we lose either as long as we don't get battered. This!!
foxfanazer Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 Don't think we could really weaken the side if we wanted to. Most changes are like for like imo. Wood for Nuge James for King etc I think we'll scrape a 1-0
Wilson_6 Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 Just been on there forum and the majority of people on there expect us to beat them. i'm going for a high scoring game with us just nicking it 3-2 City! Vardy brace and kingeh
Thracian Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 Pick the strongest team. What a kop-out "resting" people is. We've "rested" people in the recent past and shot all the rhythm out of our performances. Players shouldn't need a rest and when those players are second in the league they won't want one. In fact if I'd helped my team to second in the table I'd be well cheesed off to lose my place for the cup games. I've no sympathy concerning the fringe players. It's up to them to keep themselves fit and take their chances if and when they come. I saw quite enough of "fringe" players against Burton Albion last season and they blew it big time. Right now it's a bit of a privilege to wear the city shirt (a far cry from the Kaebi days when even Jobber could have worn the shirt if he'd gathered enough pals to shout for him) and that's how it should be. When the team starts losing is the time to make unforced changes. Not now - not when the current team has made a habit of winning at home - the sort of habit we've been desperate for despite their not playing especially well. Many have said it's a results business we're in and, in accepting that, it's our strongest team that's most likely to get the "result" we'd all like against Fuham and, with it, the outside chance of actually winning something of significance again or at least doing enough to get noticed. And if we don't care about winning - as illustrated by the piss-take against Burton - the club should say so and save everyone the cost of forking out for tickets.

What I will say is that our fringe players are better than those that played against Burton. Better attitudes as well
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 Been on the fulham forum and most of the guys on there are pretty concerned, most of them fearing the worst even some say they reckon Jol could walk if they lose! Going to be a tasty game tomorrow
Corky Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 Is it on TV anywhere in the world? In the concourses at the ground Couldn't find anything when I checked.
