Karljohn Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Aside from their win at Palace they are notoriously bad travellers, stubborn though and I think Jol will set them up with his best side, I'll go for a narrow defeat maybe 1-2.
foxfanazer Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 I'd start Wood and James. Rest King and Nuge. I think we have a decent chance against these 2-1 obviously

Basingstoke Fox Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Hello, Another great win and 3 points on the board today. I was just wondering what people's opinions will be for Tuesday night? Just watching the match tonight and it seems if we press high up, don't give Fulham time on the ball, we could get a win. Just hopefully Martin Jol doesn't get the sack. I was just wondering what people's opinions are who do go to games, as I don't get to go to many due to my location I like your avatar.
TrentFox Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Wonder if Jol will make wholesale changes to prevent a confidence affecting loss and leave a potential excuse. Think their first XI is too good for us if it performs to its full potential, but we go into the game with nothing to lose. It will be interesting to see the selections of both managers. But if you were Jol, and you thought your job was on the line, what team would you pick !? I know what I'd go for !
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 We've not beaten Fulham over 90 minutes in our last 8 attempts - a run stretching back to our 1-0 win over them in April 1983. Ian Wilson the scorer that day. In our last two meetings they've dumped us out the Cup twice in the last minute, both at their place. We did, however, beat them on penalties the year we beat Tranmere in the Worthington Cup Final.
sphericalfox Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Fulham were woeful this weekend, but I suspect they'll relish a chance of distraction, and playing an 'inferior' CCC club to put things right. They have some talent, but seemingly are toothless upfront at the minute. The fight will be in the midfield, so let's hope our lads are up for it. foxesfan98 Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Think the team will be: Schmeichel Moore Wasilewski Morgan Konchesky Knockaert Drinkwater Hammond Schlupp Taylor-Fletcher Wood Subs - Logan, Miquel, St Ledger, James, Dyer, Nugent, Hopper
bovril Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Fulham and Jol would really like to win this one. I think he'll play a strong side. 3-1 Fulham.
Ric Flair Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 We MUST make a couple of changes as I worry this first XI will run out of steam again like last year. Wood deserves a start as does James/Hammond. Kasper Wasyl Morgan Miquel Moore James Drinkwater Hammond Schlupp Wood Vardy Subs: Taylor-Fletcher, Nugent, King, Logan, Bakayogo, Knockaert, Dyer

Stadt Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 I doubt Moore would play as a wing back
Mack Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 I'd send some of the current fringe players out for this ie: Hammond, James, GTF, Wood along with a mixture of the regulars. I don't much care if we lose either as long as we don't get battered.
MPH Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Bugger it. put a reserve team out, let everyone in for free, Get that sam in from x factor for half time funnies... forfeit the game and save the lads for the promotion push.
Leicesterpool Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 I think the only way we're going to win this is by all out attack, Fulham will come to get an early goal and then park the bus for the rest of the game.
Jimmy Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 I'd freshen things up, give, Wasilewski, Dyer, King, Konch, Knocky and Vardy a rest
Corky Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Looking forward to this, Fulham sounded awful on the radio yesterday so hope that will continue. Keep Vardy playing, he's starting to hit form, Wood deserves a go for his display, Hammond and James to come in along with Schlupp.
cambridgefox Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Was at a party last night with a Fulham supporting mate.He thinks if we hassle them,Fulham won't be interested.Too many players just after the money.
Col city fan Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 I think Jol will put out a strong side. As someone said earlier, another loss, especially to a Championship team and he's gonna lose credibility. Pearson will change our team I think. I think we'll get beat. kingfox Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 Completely forgot we had a League Cup game in midweek. Not bothered, and I'm not going. Eastenders all the way, murder this week there is, not to be missed.
Lionheart Posted 27 October 2013 Share Posted 27 October 2013 I reckon they will put out first team,if they win they are through to quarter final and let's face it they aren 't going to get a look in with any other trophies. We need to rough them up a bit, players like Berbatov won't like it and they could well bottle it.
