Deucalion Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Leeds are arrogant ****** but at least they have something, however distant in the past, to be arrogant about and things in their history I am jealous of. Same goes for Forest too. But where have these Watford delusions of grandeur come from? They have had a few stints in the top flight and they have the odd famous player in their history. Ranked against that they have never won anything of note, they are a club famous for hoofball, they have spent a fair amount of their history in the lower leagues, their attendances are mediocre and they are one of many, many unglamourous clubs in or near London. I've got nothing against honest, decent fans of Watford but it seems like a sizable minority have a huge chip on their shoulders about something. It isn't worth getting too upset about however, as their expectations of their team are not based in reality and can only end in crushing disappointment.
bluesbrothers Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 golden shower boys maybe Can't wait till BigJohnSteader gets wind of that one. Super_Horns, you're alright though.
Lionheart Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Isn't Watford just some irrelevant little town created in the 60s as an overflow for London?
Guest Bilo Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Super_Horns is a decent sort. He's been here long before the Pozzos had even heard of Watford and is far more realistic about his side's standing in the football world. I think it's the young sort who are the problem, those and the poorly educated older fans. I feel for the decent Watford fans who have to share a ground with these idiots.
Jace Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Most Watford fans are probably supporting Arsenal by now this season anyway
Munshi Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 i feel sorry for their fans. Will turn out in numbers but will leave empty handed. Pissy little club Leicester, living in our shadow. Awwww sorry to spoil your prediction.
Tedders Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?49577-should-the-french-kid-be-charged-by-the-FA hahahahahahahah!!!! but what there mascot did before ko was ok??
Master Fox Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Their logic of booing Knockeart is hilarious. Didn't he 'miss' the penalty that led to the greatest day in their history? Watford fans should be applauding not berating him. I don't understand the animosity they have towards us either? That game in May against us means nothing in retrospect, they lost the final. Idiots.
Corky Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 DEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYY! Open goal, wide.

Master Fox Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 It's because he dived that's where all he hate towards him comes from There is absolutely no logic in their argument.
Fox92 Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Keep posting some cringeworthy, embarrassing stuff from them. Keeping me entertained and is just icing on the cake after the result earlier. This!So funny at the minute, just because of what some of them were posting leading up to the game. That 'second gear' post is classic.

Jace Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Ban Knockaert for celebrating I've heard it all now
Unabomber Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 What the **** have the FA not charged the little rascal yet? #dontchargeknockaert

You know, I'm really surprised. I disagreed with every person I know about that game - because I felt Watford handled it with all of the dignity I could have expected from our own lot. Zola was entitled to celebrate as he did, the fans had a party, Deeney was extremely respectful in his post match comments and every Watford fan I met was perfectly kind about the whole business. So I'm a little taken aback that they feel bitter now. It's as if they wish Knockaert had scored the penalty so they hadn't been subjected to the most gutless play-off final defeat you're likely to see for a long time.
Lukey Boi Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 what about charging him with bringing the game in disrepute for crying like a girl!!! or being French or being a *rat and being French? What are they going on about?!
AKCJ Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 I've never seen someone wanting a coin right in between the eyes so much in my life. There's always one absolute willyhead.

Thankyou very much. Tinpot. I would never have believed it if you'd told me a decade ago that we'd be a bigger club than Leicester.
The Doctor Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 What a bunch of fucking tools. That moog chap has got to be still looking forward to nap-time at school, I've seen 5 year olds who aren't as retarded as him.
johnny the fox Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Well, all I can say is they must be getting their hands on some quality s h i t down there.. Im considering moving down.
purpleronnie Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Watford have a reputation of having oddball fans, so I'm not surprised by them.
