cambridgefox Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Add to that their booing, asking for his autograph on photos of him crying, no wonder our players gave their fans shit when we scored.I think reading their Forum is brilliant. They act like this, gloat when they beat us( in fairness I can understand that) but when some have given a bit back, the dummies get thrown out and think we are worried that they think we are arrogant( most of us far from it) Forest don't care about us,Forest have better fans, more cups etc as if that is going to tip us over the edge. All I care about is Leicester winning and not running away from Luton!
sylofox Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 We should all sign up to it and use Knockaert as our screeny. Then start a thread best away player this season put a vote on it with 10 different versions of Knocky lol
MANFACE Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Had a mate who lived in Watford, he said it was one of the shittiest places on earth he had ever visited. It was full of retards who were always drunk on special brew and that was just their football fans.
Leicesterpool Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Leicesterpool where's that video ? Uploading it tomorrow
C-man Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Anyone getting their knickers in a twist over their mascot's antics before the game might need to visit an anger management course or two. I thought it was pretty funny, completely harmless and if anything stoked our fans up. Might not have been the cleverest thing to do but certainly not 'unprofessional'.
Corky Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 We'll all have a joke when Filbert repeats Almunia's clearance against Wood's face in the home game.
Stadt Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 I don't know where it came from but it must've taken some Goebbel's standard propaganda to get them to believe they're so magnificent.
Benditlikevydra Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 I find this quite funny. You take a look at our forums and pick out some of the idiot's comments and act as though they represent the entire Watford fanbase. Most of us couldn't care less about Knocky, he dived to win the penalty, like many have done before and many will do since, including our lot, but it ended up with us winning the game anyway. Yes, we celebrated like mad, but every other team's fans would have done the same in those circumstances. After seeing it turning round from utter disaster one minute through to the Deeney goal which put us through, is not going to see a set of supporters politely applauding from the sidelines. It just doesn't happen and for you lot to suggest that we "over- celebrated" is just plain stupid. You are criticising our club and fans because you have witnessed a small portion of them acting childishly, but you are doing so on a Forum thread that is equally childish. With comments such as "Had a mate who lived in Watford, he said it was one of the shittiest places on earth he had ever visited. It was full of retards who were always drunk on special brew" You pick on the thread about whether the FA should punish the Frenchman, but I think only one of the posters on here correctly pointed out that just about everybody totally disagreed with the OP. Some of the posters that you have picked on such as Moog and Carlos, are so contrary sometimes that even we don't know when they are being serious. However, they are definitely not stupid or unintelligent, quite the opposite. And Filbert is witty, stands up for your club and comes across as a decent representative of your fans. It is just banter, most of it childish and stupid and not worth bothering about.

To me you're just another championship club
Grewks Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Why can't we just let it all go eh? It just shows how small time Watford really are, re-inacting a goal which led to what? Losing a game at Wembley against another side just as small time as themselves. Did we react like this to claridge's goal? or either of Elliot's against Tranmere?? No - but these goals actually meant something. We shouldn't get involved in any argument of this topic - Watford fans are calling it the 'Greatest ever finish to a game' which just shows how biased and deluded their views really are. (Aguero v QPR, and Solskjaer v Bayern are just two examples of 'Greater finishes' to a game, and if i was to put my blue tinted specs on i would have to include leicester v arsenal).
Beliall Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 solkjaer vs bayern, is the greatest finish to a game
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dv5vs0cnRo&feature=youtube_gdata_player Thanks for posting this, very droll, maybe next season they will re-enact Woods goal ...... Maybe not as I cannt see us both being in the same divivison
Captain... Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dv5vs0cnRo&feature=youtube_gdata_player In hindsight that's quite amusing, I would have no problem with Filbert winding up the Watford fans by re-enacting Wood's goal with Logan before the match. Are those complaining about it the same ones that complain about football being a sanitised family atmosphere by any chance.

So now we are almost into a "my dad's bigger than your dad" type of argument. Of course you are a "bigger" club than Watford, your City has a far larger population, about 4 times larger. You have a much nicer stadium built on debt, that was written off, owing millions. You also have a much bigger current debt than Watford FC, a much bigger annual loss and a much bigger wage bill. If you really want to get into a "my clubs bigger than your club" argument I think you have to take into account what each club is actually worth. But a honestly admire the way your club has not continued with the rampant spending that other clubs, such as Forest have done, and I think you (and Burnley) deserve some recognition for that. I also like Pearson, who seems a decent fella! Happy now!

All I need is a mention of "tinpot" and I've got a full house on "Football Fan Bingo".

Fox92 Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 lol That Hornet is one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen, I think he's well above Derby's annoying Ram now. I'm so pleased we not only beat them, but the players celebrated like they did, especially for Wood's goal.
