kane Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 just a quick one , i was in the pearson out brigade last season and thought he would be sacked at christmas , i can now say im so glad he has made me eat my words and i now fully support pearson and realise the huge task he had when coming to the club post sven(which i should have done from day 1), So lets stop all the "where are the pearson out gang now" and do as lots of you on here do and support our team through thick and thin. if you where like me (PEARSON OUT) feel free to comment your thought's and yes i know my english is shocking but lets keep it about the football LEICESTER TILL I FRIKIN DIE
NathanBlueFox Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 i wasn't, stuck by him through thick and thin... always knew he was the right guy for the job.
Harry - LCFC Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 We all love Pearson now. It's like Christianity in medieval Europe. Give me a bit more of that Biblical text/Promotion winning football, Bishop/Nigel!
Unabomber Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 I know you said to ignore the english and keep it about the football, but boy that is hard.
NewquayFox Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 You mad impetuous fool, he is a good manager and always has been.... ;0)
StanSP Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Fair enough. At least someone has some humility about them. Good on you!
sylofox Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Good for you. Most would not be big enough to stand up and say it. And you did not really need to.
Fox92 Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 I've always backed Nige, I've always said he will get it right. Although I always backed him, I to get bored of the 'where are the Pearson out brigade' threads now. It was so boring at the time when we had a 'Pearson out thread' everyday, and I, with others on here, defended him every day but ultimately we all support Leicester City FC. Good on you for this though, positive thread, and 'up the foxes' for the rest of the season (as the saying goes!)
LTID Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 I'm happy to put my hand-up and say I was part of the Pearson out brigade. I also understand that whatever I put now I'll get slated because the problem with Foxes Talk is that you can't have an open, honest and respectful debate. As soon as you write something some people don't agree with they immediately resort to personal abuse. However, I will say that I'm still uncomfortable with Pearson. He's obviously doing a good job getting us up to second but, I wonder if his lack of flexibility, tactical naivety and bully manner will ultimately mean we miss-out again. If, and it's still a big if, we do get promoted this season then fair enough but it's only early November and whilst I hope I'm wrong I won't be surprised if we're looking for a new manager in the summer.
Bayfox Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 I never wanted him out. however he's the right man for the current job. But is he the man to get us over the line. Jury still out on that for me.
langtonfox Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 I'm the same, wasn't sure about NP, but will now admit I was wrong and glad the Thais could see the good job he was doing, it's easy to say "I knew he was good" but we're not all perfect
Out Foxed Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 i'm sure you'll be back wanting him sacked if/when we **** up again. flip floppers

Tactical naivety. Really? In previous seasons maybe, but this season he has been spot on with tactics. He has changed the setup and approach mid-game on some occasions and we have ended up winning/holding out. Probably down to the fact he is viewing from a fans perspective in the stands now. My point is, you are throwing these wild accusations around with no real evidence to back it up.

I think this shows we are adapting game by game to counteract teams but also to penetrate and score. I also wanted NP out last year. I am not an advocate of managers out. Just thought that NP was at a loss to change the course of our demise. We are now playing some of the best and most exciting football for a long while. Without the Keegan kamikaze school of football. Looking how that came out best go to 365 pull up 2nd half record. Sorry
