Dan Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Absolute horror show that one. I've always been a big fan of Pearson but anyone who was there that day would be forgiven for wondering if it was time for him to go. I certainly looked at the performance that day and struggled to imagine how he could/would turn it around. At least in that Pompey game we actually scored and theycalso had some decent players. At Barnsley we got nowhere near and they were cannon fodder at the bottom of the table. Even I came out thinking wow, he really has lost it. But to be fair, we've only lost 5 games out of 26 in all comps since that, so I think that game was the end of the bad run. We were ridiculously lucky to only lose 2-0. I was actually gobsmacked how bad we were.
svensson Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 People need to reassess their geography and time zones if they thought Chris Wood wouldn't be back in England till Friday. He's been back...a while. Agree 100%.
svensson Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Always get turbulance whenever I've been in the Southern Hemiosphere, I did NZ in March and struggled to get sleep in Business. He has to get from Christchurch to Auckland first, then you generally stop over in Oz as well before taking in the proper two legged flight back to the UK. He won't be back yet and jet lag from that difference through those times zone is a nightmare, I did a week in bed when I got back, if anyone seriously expects him to be back on a football pitch and perform to his best less than 72 let alone 24-48 hours after doing the New Zealand-England flight they have clearly never done it! Give him a weeks rest, will be worth it in the long run. You need a better travel agent. Ive done it at least 7 times and it messed you up for a week? Crazy talk.
Guest MattP Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 You need a better travel agent. Ive done it at least 7 times and it messed you up for a week? Crazy talk. Couple of weeks, thought it was probably more to do with being on a three month bender than the actual flight.
Dan Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Where the hell do you get all your money from Has Wood actually come back? I'd heard nothing so assumed he'd been kept with NZ.
Guest MattP Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Where the hell do you get all your money from Has Wood actually come back? I'd heard nothing so assumed he'd been kept with NZ. Long story but I've not got much left now I have no idea if he came back early, heard nothing from the club about it.
Happy Fox Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Where the hell do you get all your money from Has Wood actually come back? I'd heard nothing so assumed he'd been kept with NZ. wood is available Leicester City â€@OfficialFOXES5h Suspension rules @Aknockaert out of @Official_ITFC on Saturday, but @officialcwood is back safe and well from duty with @NZ_Football. #lcfc
svensson Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Couple of weeks, thought it was probably more to do with being on a three month bender than the actual flight. That would do it.
svensson Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Where the hell do you get all your money from Has Wood actually come back? I'd heard nothing so assumed he'd been kept with NZ. Its not as expensive as you may think, dependent upon travel dates ie out of school holidays.
Walshy5 Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Cant make this one unfortunately. Anyone know if theres any streams or pubs that might show it?
foxesfan98 Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Schmeichel Moore Wasilewski Morgan Konchesky Drinkwater James King Vardy Wood Dyer Subs - Logan, Miquel, Bakayogo, Hammond, Schlupp, Taylor-Fletcher, Nugent 3-1 win for us. Wood, Vardy & King to score.
Stadt Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 My 2nd away game of the season, I've never seen us lose away from home
sylofox Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Just for all you lots traveling from sunny Leicester. To let you know it is betterly cold down here :-(
Simonb Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 Nuge on right wood centre n dyer up front for me
Ric Flair Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Nugent has a very good record against Ipswich but right now he's off the boil and especially away from home where he has zero goal threat. I'd also be inclined to give Matty James a chance over King who hasn't been as good as he's capable of in the last few games. Schmeichel Moore Wasyl Morgan Schlupp James Hammond Drinkwater Dyer Vardy Wood
LCFC FOX Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Schmeichel Moore Morgan Wasyl Koncheskey James Drinkwater Schlupp King Dyer Vardy Subs - Logan, Miquel, Bakayogo, Hammond, GTF, Nugent, Wood
Jfox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 We'll play 4-3-3 for this, with Nugent, Vardy and Wood upfront and King, Drinkwater and Hammond/James in midfield
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Just wondering what formation you would play tomorrow at Ipswich? as Knockaert isn't playing I would go for 4-3-3.
KFS Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 With Knocky out I think it's reinforced our claims for a new RW player.
maynefox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Just for all you lots traveling from sunny Leicester. To let you know it is betterly cold down here :-( It is, but I swear it's always sunny in Norwich/Norfolk?!
Happy Fox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 With Knocky out I think it's reinforced our claims for a new RW player. We have needed a Right winger ever since Marshall left, anyway Mick McCarthy thinks we are going to play 4-4-2 We will surprise them and go 4-3-3 Kasper Moore Morgan Wasyl Schlupp King Drinkwater James Dyer Wood Vardy Subs: Nugent, Konchesky, Hammond, Logan, Miguel, Bakayogo and GTF.
