sylofox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Make shift team, created chances early on calm down Don't really care if we do. Rather him try out all his options now and take the best possible squad to brazil. No point what so ever playing our best squad now then the day of naming the squad we have 10 missing. For years I have said we should be using fringe and untried players in these games before a tournament.
sylofox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Getting fvcked off with this now. We got a kitten and it is trying to catch the ball ffs. ffs but cat see fvck all of the game

We got a kitten and it is trying to catch the ball ffs. ffs but cat see fvck all of the game Count yourself lucky! Watching the kitten leap around sounds like a far more exciting proposition than watching what England are serving up.
Tincy Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 This is the worse game of football I've witnessed in a long time. Awful.
Guest shearfox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 This is the worse game of football I've witnessed in a long time. Awful. Reason why I think these friendlies are useless
foxfanazer Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 One of the poorest England performances I've ever seen. Maybe it's not too important of a game but my god we look toothless. Can't wait for the world cup!

Can't wait for the world cup! Too many out, but the depth looks poor... we need our full squad to have any chance of making the quarters... Chile exposed a very poor defence
sylofox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Am I the only one that thinks chiles numbers looked like it was white gaffer tape stook on the back of a shirt lol
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Reason why I think these friendlies are useless Unfortunately an opinion shared by coaching staff and players. Soon as they start realising that friendlies can make or break whether your in pot 1 or 2 at a World Cup finals the better. Embarrassing performance, not looking forward to Tuesday.
foxfanazer Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Think Baines showed tonight why Ashley Cole is still such an important player.
AKCJ Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Embarrassing when Chile come to Wembley and get 57% possession.
Guest shearfox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Better than it happening at the World Cup , certainly a footballing lesson for our young players
ScouseFox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Calamitous defending all evening. Forster at fault for the second too, reminded me of when you don't have a keeper at 5 a side and you put the pussy fat kid in goal and as soon as someone shapes to shoot the keeper moves out the way. Smalling just nah, Baines had an off night, never seen the good in Cahill, jones still young and hasn't a clue where he's playing each week. As a nation we should all be forced to individually apologise to John Terry until he decides to come out of retirement. And play Ashley Cole in every game that matters.
foxfanazer Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Better than it happening at the World Cup , certainly a footballing lesson for our young playersThe worrying thing is, they're not that young!
kingfox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 They got pissed on, terrorised. Passed off the park, by a team who isn't the most gifted looking at their full squad, but they are a team who know how to pass the ball, and pass it well. England's shape was all over the place, the closing down was horrific, and the defence especially were crap, Smalling not international quality, another mistake by Cahill, and Baines was surprisingly very disappointing. They have no chance in Brazil...Fact!
Guest shearfox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 The worrying thing is, they're not that young! They aren't experienced but yes it is worrying...

xHamzah Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Pretty convincing displays from England before this, I'm guessing we'll be lucky to reach the quarter finals again
Stadt Posted 15 November 2013 Author Posted 15 November 2013 It's a loss in a friendly where we tried some new players, admittedly we were poor but this result has little bearing on what will happen in Brazil.
Uncle Albert Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 I knew I would come on here to a load of over reacting, standard procedure on FoxesTalk.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Outclassed. I was happy to an extent though after originally accidentlybselecting Sanchez as fgs when I wanted Hernandez (both eng win 2-1)

Correct, no matter what the result was tonight getting to the quarters in Brazil will be overachieving
