lavrentis Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I would like to see this lineup: Chris Kirkland Lewis Buxton Rodger Johnson Glenn Loovens Reda Johnson Giles Coke Jose Semedo Paul Corry Jermaine Johnson Connor Wickham Matty Fryatt Unfortunately Antonio and Helan will probably start on the wings along with the hapless Llera at the back. No chance Corry will start either it will probably be McPhail and Olofinjana who have been ineffective at best in the last few weeks. I've no idea why Kirkland has been dropped either and I hope it's not for footballing reasons. We would have zero points if it wasn't for him. I just hope Loovens is fit because we need someone to partner Rodger Johnson at the back with Gardner out long term. I'm going to predict an attendance of 17,000 and we will lose 3-0. There are a large number of fans boycotting and not going until Jones has gone. I am dreading Tuesday and the atmosphere is going to be awful. 3-0 Leicester
Guest shearfox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 They've just sacked Jones as well. Dammit...
Brainy Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Fryatt's loan has finished and won't be renewed straight away
Cincinnati Fox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 No fryatt!! Good news! Maybe to us in jan???
FoxG2 Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 That's what I thought, Fryatt has retired to Hull so wont't be playing, can't understand why Wednesday fans are naming him their team line up.
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 All set up to be a shock, they have no form, we are in the best form in the division, complacency possibly? Would like to see Wood given a go, other than that same team. Was pleased we allowed ourselves to give Drinkwater and Dyer a slight rest in the game given their current form levels. If we are professional we should be fine, like last season. Why would you like to see Wood given a go? Nugent and Vardy continue to develop their strike partnership, why on earth upset that? It's not like we're struggling at present is it. I don't agree with this 'give such and such a go' mentality. If we're losing matches and need a to change the side and the formation, fine. But we're not. The only reason I would 'give Wood a go' is if we opt for a 4-3-3. Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing personally.
Munshi Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 No fryatt!! Good news! Maybe to us on line in jan??? Wait What?
Out Foxed Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 would have put money on fry up scoring if he was playing.
sylofox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Apart from the weekend just gone.... I think the key word was Usually. But I may be wrong.
ealingfox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Never bet against us before, but I am seriously considering lumping on Wednesday at 12/5. We have to face facts. We are clear at the top of the league, have won 7 of our last 9 and chasing a third win on the bounce, playing good football, have an almost fully-fit squad, are picking up significantly more away points than past seasons including 3 wins in our last 4 aways, and will be taking a fairly big following. They are in the bottom 3, have only won once all season, haven't kept a single clean sheet this season, are managerless, have lost their last three matches, are without a key defender and have lost a first-choice striker in Fryatt. A Wednesday win to nil is unfortunately nailed on.

Long Eaton Fox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Was thinking we should go 433 for this but with DD, Nugent and Dyer having rests v millwall, should all be fresh and 442 should prevail. The pace of the front 4 is scary. Take it to them. 433 v brighton.
Long Eaton Fox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Anyone know if tickets are available on the gate
Heisenberg Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Player for player we are better than these and I think we'll win 3-1. Vardy Nuge Knockaert Even though he hasn't looked great I think it has to be a good thing that Fryatt won't be playing
lcfcliam Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 The club tweeted that they advise you not to travel without a ticket
I blame Wellens Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 All the best to everyone making that short (but roadworks infested) journey up the M1 tomorrow. Show those Sheffield lot what 'real' support is. 1-0 will do thank you very much.
Dan Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 We'll win. Leicester are over-coming a lot of usual banana skins this season - lets add 'just sacked their manager' to that.
deejdeej Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 I think we'll win this. Surprised by peoples delight that Fryatt wont be playing though, I know there's the ex player curse and all that but... its Matty Fryatt not Messi.
Rob1742 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Sat with some scouts of another team recently and was surprised at the level of detail these guys get into, and take back to base. Details like - what type of free kicks, who takes them, intended targets. Corners etc etc. How they play the ball out, through the middle, out wide etc. Who the danger men are, influential players, players with a bit of fight, it is all detailed down. Everything is looked at in detail. Unfortunately for this game, I would think the new manager would have his own ideas, or will let the players do their own thing in set peices etc, so tonight won't be easy. I always wondered why it is difficult to play against a team who have just lost a manager and it is clear that it is hard to plan against them so I can see tonight being a much harder task than one we would have undertaken if Jones was still in charge. I used to think it was just one of those weird things why it is hard to play against a manager less team, but after seeing the detail the scouts go into, it is clear that taking in detail of how the opposition play is a key part of the game. More so than I thought anyway
surrifox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 everything is against them and for us therefore we are bound to lose this is a very persuasive argument however I am hoping that "New Leicester" will see off the inevitable pratfall that "Old Leicester" would have willingly fallen for
Itsthejoeker Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Anyone know whether this will be streamed anywhere?
Happy Fox Posted 3 December 2013 Author Posted 3 December 2013 Anyone know whether this will be streamed anywhere? If you have SKYSPORTS news all the goals as they come live will be shown.
JonnyBoy Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 think they will get the first, then we will bag 3... Vardy, James and Nugent
