So I'm going tonight. Though maybe its a bad Idea.

Been to see Wednesday vs City 3 times and my aggregate score is 11-1 to Wednesday. (at Hillsborough)

Sat with some scouts of another team recently and was surprised at the level of detail these guys get into, and take back to base.

Details like - what type of free kicks, who takes them, intended targets. Corners etc etc. How they play the ball out, through the middle, out wide etc. Who the danger men are, influential players, players with a bit of fight, it is all detailed down.

Everything is looked at in detail. Unfortunately for this game, I would think the new manager would have his own ideas, or will let the players do their own thing in set peices etc, so tonight won't be easy.

I always wondered why it is difficult to play against a team who have just lost a manager and it is clear that it is hard to plan against them so I can see tonight being a much harder task than one we would have undertaken if Jones was still in charge.

I used to think it was just one of those weird things why it is hard to play against a manager less team, but after seeing the detail the scouts go into, it is clear that taking in detail of how the opposition play is a key part of the game. More so than I thought anyway

Very good points, but in this case it is still an interim manager, internal appointment I presume and had very little time to work on anything, so hopefully it won't make too much of a difference, unless he picks completely different players.

This is also validation for changing a winning side, and not getting "found out". I don't like the never change a winning team mentality, it makes you predictable and easier to set-up against, we have such a strong squad at the moment and no weak links on the bench that it is criminal not to use them. Rotation keeps the whole squad match, stops moral from dropping for the fringe players, allows for more flexibility in the event of injuries and keeps the opposition guessing.

I would love to see NP switch King for DD, bring back Moore for Was or Miguel and start with Wood ahead of Vardy, then you can let Vardy loose on the tiring defenders.

I think Col said that we should stick with Vardy and Nuge as their partnership is blossoming, but if one gets injured and Wood has barely had a look in, then they have to start from scratch again with a new partner. Give Wood more time to play with Vardy and or Nuge as well as Knocky and the rest, then should we lose Vardy or Nugent to injury it won't have the same impact (we would also hopefully learn to stop lumping it up to Wood's head).

Drop Vardy who's scored 4 in 4? I wouldn't. You've gotta reward players for putting in the effort and reaping their reward. Wood will have to take his chances to impress from the bench or when injuries or loss of form opens opportunities up to him. That's my opinion anyway.

I wouldn't be looking at changing anyone in the team unless he decides to go 433 but I certainly wouldn't be swapping King for Drinky or Wood for Vardy.

Hit them hard early on, if we're 2 up with 20 to go then put Wood on, as you say he needs the time on the pitch.

Caretaker managers are likely to play it safe. I reckon they'll stick 10 men behind the ball and try to hit us on the break. We should be able to break them down though, and I'll go for a 1-0 victory, nugent the scorer.

Can see Knockaert scoring tonight

Going to go 2-1 Leicester, Knockaert and Vardy with the goals, Wickham scoring for them

Just realised Joe Mattock still plays for them as well! hopefully he'll get a warm reception

A bit different starting a game compared to coming on for the last 20 when we either really need a goal, or are sitting on what we've got.

I think King and James in the middle and Nugent and Wood up top, is just as strong as James and Drinkwater and Nuge and Vardy, with the added bonus of King and Wood being well rested.

Big game on Saturday, then 4 of the biggest games of the season in 12 days, I would want all my squad firing and fit for them. If that means giving the likes of Moore, King, Wood, Schlupp, Hammond starts against Wednesday (not all of them) then I would do.

Burnley, Man City, QPR and Reading in 12 days. That is going to be season defining.

I couldnt disagree more. James should stay in the side, for King and don't change a strikeforce who are playing well and scoring goals.

Sometimes I have no idea where you get your footballing ideas from.
