Socks Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Just watched it expecting to see us all over the place with going top... But instead they just show the goals and a quick 5 second interview with Nige and that's it. Have we done something to annoy the beeb or someat? They've been all over Burnley and QPR and Forest like shit in a field the past month. Why do they keep ignoring us?
bovril Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I'll be happy if they keep ignoring us and we keep getting the results.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 They choose the featured games before match day so they can take more cameras and a commentator there. They basically show the game Sky show, the one on Friday if there is one and a game of their choice, usually a local derby.
Brooksy Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 We're not even headlines on the BBC Championship page. You would think a team going top of the league would be the main story. I suppose if it was QPR they'd be all over it.

Bettsj2 Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Like bovril said, happy to keep flying under the radar and not have the attention. The only recognition I want this year is to see that 'P' next to our name in the League table.
Saxondale Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 We're not even headlines on the BBC Championship page. You would think a team going top of the league would be the main story. I suppose if it was QPR they'd be all over it. I noticed this. Rather than 'Leicester go top', the headlines were something along the lines of 'Burnley mess up'. Our match report was marked only by the scoreline.
Mrmojorisin Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 How some of the researchers or presenters have jobs is beyond me..Vardy was named as Luke Vardy..different presenter called him Yardy!!..I'm glad they're not hyping us up..less pressure.
purpleronnie Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 weren't we the featured game the other week?
cambridgefox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 weren't we the featured game the other week?yes,I don't think we have been given a rough deal.We were expected to win and the other matches were more of a shock and had some controversy .Think they have been fairly kind to us so far.
Kitchandro Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I don't get this 'flying under the radar' thing. What radar? People just want us to get some recognition when we deserve it. Why do people think it's better that we don't get attention? It's sickening that tinpot clubs like QPR are bummed by the media cos Redknapp's in charge and we're treated like some second rate Championship club. It's insulting.
steveherbe Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 yes,I don't think we have been given a rough deal.We were expected to win and the other matches were more of a shock and had some controversy .Think they have been fairly kind to us so far. Now look, if you are going to be logical and reasonable, you may be asked to leave this forum!
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 when ever we are the featured game we seem to lose, lets hope they keep ignoring us!
foxfanazer Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Hopefully MOTD cover us a bit more next season
Lionator Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 The more attention we start getting, the more likely that pressure will start building on the players. Let's nail the next few games and build a lead at the top first.
Beliall Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 How some of the researchers or presenters have jobs is beyond me..Vardy was named as Luke Vardy..different presenter called him Yardy!!..I'm glad they're not hyping us up..less pressure. , they called him yardy on SSN as well, i thought it was appropriate as he was bombing down the pitch at the time!
MPH Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I get the less pressure thing.... I just want to see city on TV as much as possible
Socks Posted 1 December 2013 Author Posted 1 December 2013 I don't get the whole 'low radar' crap. We're at the the top and in good form and I'm sure the players and manager know their in the limelight so any more media coverage won't apply any certain other type of pressure surely? Just think they have their 'faves' and will still be gnoshing off Harry if they slump to mid table...
Bettsj2 Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 , they called him yardy on SSN as well, i thought it was appropriate as he was bombing down the pitch at the time! Whilst blacked up and talking about tings.
Tielemans63 Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Another thing about the FLS - why aren't their cameramen trained to film things in focus? I thought my eyes were going several times while watching it.
Guest ttfn Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 We already get loads of coverage (maybe even disproportionate) on the FLS. They've got to get through 72 teams in an hour.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Still beats Central News on a Monday being the only place to see the goals, and even then being the second story to Forest regardless of league standing.
