ScouseFox Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 paddypower beat you to it (excuse the incredibly not funny pictures of miranda and barry, i didn't make it)
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Every one of the 7 players that get dropped would stroll into our side Torres and Villa wouldn't get into the England squad.
Fox in the North Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Torres and Villa wouldn't get into the England squad. So they wouldn't get ahead of Danny Welbeck, a striker who's pretty much done naff all, apart from be Roys favourite boy? At least Torres looks more threatening and has scored the odd goal more and Villa has played a major part for Atletico Madid.
AKCJ Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Torres and Villa wouldn't get into the England squad. Christ.
ScouseFox Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 awaits clip of danny welbeck scoring in a friendly to confirm he is the better player...

Have you seen Torres play?
Bert Posted 14 May 2014 Author Posted 14 May 2014 Torres and Villa wouldn't get into the England squad.Piss off you troll
ScouseFox Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Welbeck is there for his pace and energy from a wide position. Have you seen Torres play? the torres one could genuinely be a debate because he's not been very good (not half as bad as welbeck but yano, could maybe give you the benefit of the doubt). talk to me about david villa please.
Fox in the North Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Welbeck is there for his pace and energy from a wide position. Have you seen Torres play? That Welbeck has still contributed nothing for Man utd this year. So what about Villa?
GingerrrFox Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Cannot believe Luis, Moura and Damiao have been left out of the Brazil squad, especially Luis he's been great for Atletico this season and must feel hard done by to lose out to Maxwell.
Soar Fox Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Torres and Villa wouldn't get into the England squad. Fvck sake have a day off you troll.
HEGGSY Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Villa wouldn't get into the England squad. You make me sick.

Villa is past his best and is generally a sub for Atletico Madrid. He doesn't have the pace or athleticism of Welbeck. He doesn't have the height of Lambert. And he clearly wouldn't be ahead of Rooney or Sturridge. He'd be ahead of Defoe on standy-by though. He's even considering going to the MLS.

It's a good job you're not in a position of power in the FA, I bet you're overweight and bald and you shout "break their ****ing legs" at kids football games.
Finnegan Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Lambert is better than Villa because he's taller. Lmao. lol
Jimothy Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Lambert is better than Villa because he's taller. Lmao. lol Crouch for world player of the year!!!
ScouseFox Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 just can't believe what I've read there. I thought I was biased towards us thinking we might do alright but that is something else
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 What I'm saying is Lambert is obviously there as the big man option (it was him or Carroll.) Welbeck is there for the pacy wide forward/striker option (it was him or Rodriguez.) So Villa would have to compete against Rooney and Sturridge for a place in the squad and he clearly would come out third best.
Guest MattP Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Spain will never win ANYTHING until they some pace and a big man up front. Seriously - "big man option" - No wonder we have won fcuk all for 50 years, some of the fans are still stuck in the days of Howard Wilkinson and John Beck. Even for POFTM wuming that Villa analogy is taking the piss. Would Iniesta get in or does he not have the pace of Sterling? Sod off Pique, you ain't as tough as Cahill. I
Stadt Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 Lloyd Dyer and Costel Pantillemon are favourites for the ballon d'or this year.
Bert Posted 14 May 2014 Author Posted 14 May 2014 Lambert is better than Villa because he's taller. Lmao. lol That makes me better than Messi then.

On another rather sad note, I'm just reading that Patrick Van Aanholt is in the Holland squad. Yes that's THE Patrick Van Aanholt who played for us. Christ almighty.
