Monsell1976 Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Steve Walsh or Gary McAllisterGood shout, would be great to see them both
Finnaldo Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 The first players I remember are the likes of Danny Tiatto and Levi Porter. I feel deprived. EDIT: in terms of the question, it would have to be Yakubu. Only Leicester player I know who's scored for fun in this league.
Fifties Blue Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Gordon Banks; keeper when I started watching City, World Cup winner, and I once shook "The Hand" that made "That Save". Legend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNLam4RAbg8
Kitchandro Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Weller. I'm too young to have seen him live but from clips he looked a truly world class player. Like the right footed Bale of the 70s.
Buce Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Len Glover - best winger I've ever seen. Shilton - best keeper ever, IMO. Worthington - most naturally gifted Englishman ever. He'd have 100 caps if he was Italian.
LCFC FOX Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Can't believe no one has said Gary Lineker, Imagine the goals he would score now and hes one of our own. For me though I am fairly young too. So out of the players I've seen play I would choose Muzzy Izzet
FoxG2 Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Arthur Rowley, legend, still holds the record for most goals scored in a season
Illusion35 Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Definitely Steve Walsh! Got a random old song in my head about him now something about wherever you may be and his f**ked up knee can anyone remember it in full for me?
Weller in Tights Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 So many, over the years we really had many talented players. Banks, Shilton, Worthington and Muzzy have all been mentioned and they for me, at their best, could play in any premier team. But for me it has to be Weller.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 GORDON BANKS--The greatest goalkeeper the world has ever seen.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Muzzy for me, always a threat for us. Great player
Buce Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 I knew Keith Weller. His house used to back on to my local playing field, and he would often jump over his fence to join in a kickabout with the local youths. How many of today's prima donnas would do that? Legend.
Fatbloke Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 To slot into our current squad we need a natural goal scorer so for me it would be Tony Cottee.
Guest bss9401 Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 For me it would be Lineker as he is my all time favourite. Even better would be to have him, Alan Smith and Lynex. We would be promoted by Easter!
allotment-fox Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Keith Weller ( RIP) made us all smile time & time again, what a player
