Devonfox1884 Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 If you could see any former/retired city player play for the club one more time, who would it be?? Do you have any special memories etc... of them?? Have you ever met them?? I don't know why, but im in the mood for reminising. Personally, i would love to see matty elliott put on the city shirt one more time, i have to love the guy, i will always remember his header in the worthington cup semi vs villa, it was immense. Has to be my favourite city player i've seen play in my lifetime.
Stadt Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Too many! The first players I remember watching were the likes of Tiatto and Elvis Hammond.

Captain... Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Tommy Wright, because I only got to see him play a couple of times. Or Barry Hayles, just to remind us how good we have it now.
Stadt Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 you must be fairly young mate!! I've just turned 16, The best player I've seen play for us is probably somebody in the current side

Guest kristianity77 Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Steve Guppy. Best crosser of the ball we have ever had.
J.Lisemore Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 As well as the above I'll go with Heskey. Born and bred Leicester.
Larry_LCFC Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Alan Young without a shadow of a doubt. Purely because I want to see him put his money where his mouth is. Anyone would think he is messi the way he goes on. Mr Perfect
l444ry Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 So many good memories of players over the years. But I always come back to Frank Worthington, great player and great entertainer!!
sylofox Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Keith Weller. A 28yr old Weller would rip this league to bits. Love to see Frankie Wortho and Gary Lineker as well. Supprised no one has said Lineker yet.
Zingari Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Alan Young without a shadow of a doubt. Purely because I want to see him put his money where his mouth is. Anyone would think he is messi the way he goes on. Mr Perfect He was pretty good though , obviously not Messi, but he always gave 100% and i doubt if many defenders relished the prospect of playing against him So many good memories of players over the years. But I always come back to Frank Worthington, great player and great entertainer!! i'd go with this
