Itsthejoeker Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Anyone else get annoyed by things like this? Or is it just me? Just seems like a waste of time and money.
Guest shearfox Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Only crap we would have won if it wasn't for that, disgraceful, should be banned
Soup Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 No your right,no wonder there's no atmosphere.Does my head in.
Jimothy Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Anyone else get annoyed by things like this? Or is it just me? Just seems like a waste of time and money. If he wants to waste his money it's his choice. A couple of people doing that won't affect the atmosphere too much. If we sold out every week and people were on waiting lists for tickets then I'd be pissed off, but there's 7000 more seats, so he's not ruining it for anyone else. He is an idiot though, to spend probably £30 plus to sit and play a game on his phone in the cold.
Danizen Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 He looks quite young. Maybe he was dragged along by his dad. Probably isn't even in to football.
Itsthejoeker Posted 14 December 2013 Author Posted 14 December 2013 He's not young, has a season ticket and does the same thing every week.
Itsthejoeker Posted 14 December 2013 Author Posted 14 December 2013 Depends whether it was during the match. Last twenty minutes when we were attacking
Mark_w Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Last twenty minutes when we were attacking Then why were you pissing about taking a picture of him?
Captain... Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Last twenty minutes when we were attacking And what were you doing? Watching the football, or taking photos of young boys? :xmastongue:
lgfualol Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Why not? His season ticket, he can do what he likes.
Nick Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 In the Levein years I could barely motivate myself out of the concourse with a beer to sit in the stand.
MC Prussian Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Others leave their seat to go for a beer, a burger or a piss. Some read the matchday magazine, some start chatting with their neighbor. You don't mention when the picture was taken today - if it was during the second half, then I can understand the lad myself. Even though I would never go as far as playing games on my smartphone.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 It amazes me how kids these days don't have the attention span to sit through something without a phone or device in front of them. Be that a football match or a meal in a restaurant, 90 minutes is just too long for them not to have their eyes glued to a screen!
StanSP Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Let him do what he wants. Watch the match and let other people do as they please.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Anyone else get annoyed by things like this? Or is it just me? Just seems like a waste of time and money. Bit sanctimonious. How long did it take you to dick around taking a picture? Concentrating on what other people are doing instead of what you're doing is arguably the bigger waste of time and money. Did anyone take a picture of Itsthejoeker taking this picture?
wight88 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Taking photos of young lads without their knowledge or consent and then putting it on the internet also without their knowledge or consent. Merely reporting the facts. Please do not do this again.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Then why were you pissing about taking a picture of him? Whoa! I quite agree.
Walshy5 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Well if we wernt so shit maybe people wouldnt get so bored!
SmithyFox12 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Then why were you pissing about taking a picture of him?
Thracian Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 No your right,no wonder there's no atmosphere.Does my head in. I thought that's what the club wanted. Everyone nice and quiet so no-one in the family stand can get upset and none of the opposition's supporters even notice we're awake. Even the pre-match music is designed to ensure the fans don't start getting excited. Honestly it's more like being at the Cathedral for a Sunday service than a football match. Everything's been steadily sanitized and anaesthatised while Soulsby's steadily pushing fans with cars into permanent exile. Happy days!
